MSHSL result of two hockey items at June 11 meeting:

26.
Determined that the Hockey Advisory Committee’s recommendation to add a 26th game to the regular season schedule may be heard by the Representative Assembly.

27.
Denied the Hockey Advisory Committee’s recommendation to increase the official squad size from 20 players to 23 players.

So what does it mean that the general assembly can hear it? Do you know when they next meet? I would assume that the odds are against an extra game being approved, even though basketball has been at 26 games for several years, given that most schools don't have hockey teams and don't care (general assembly is every school, right)?

In any case, even if approved I assume it would not impact the 07-08 season - would that be your read too?
