This will be the one successful series in the brief homestand, because I will be in the yard for the Sox series.
Twins take 2 of 3, losing to Burnett on Sunday.

Since April 4, the Twins have won only 7 times at home, despite their abundance of slap hitters they are a better team than that, especially inside on fake grass. It looks like the Central is going to be pretty stingy in relinquishing wins this year, therefore those W's need to come from somebody.
Sorry Jay fans, Morneau carrying the team and the Twins will sweep you out the door on Sunday.
I'm not sniffing RBI's, I'm sniffing the .500 mark.

My pick to click for Toronto is Frank Thomas.
Big Frank enters the series batting .226 and he is 3 for his last 24.
I forsee a first inning RBI double and a HR this evening. Frank's awakening won't matter as the Twins will still take the opener.

Twins either win 2 of 3 or get swept. I say they take 2 of 3.

Punto in the second with a runner on 1st, out 4-3.
Punto in the 4th with 1 out and the sacks packed, 4-6-3 DP.
See Shanty, its not all 4-3.

Well Neut, the series is only four innings old and so far I'm wrong on two things.
I loved, love, and will love Punto's D, but his lumber is killing the team and the stakeholder's patience.
No worries, this one's in the bag.

Like I said, game one is in the bag and Big Frank will dial up.

Whats with section 8A and AA and the use of the phrase "like I said"?

The other guy said "See it's just like I said". I said "Like I said", so with that being said, I don't think we said the same said thing.
It's too early to say the Twins need anything, but a sweep would will get them three games closer to CLE and DET as they are exchanging blows against each other this weekend.

Kubel goes 4-3 to end the sixth.

Anybody else catch that commercial on channel 29 that said "watch the Twins take on the Big Hurt & the A's next Sunday"?
Uh... Must cost a bunch of money to do new voiceovers once a year.

I caught that as well, I think it aired after the Twins scored their 2 runs in the third. Don't know if they re-racked it and played it again later though.
After last year's playoff series, maybe Marco Scutaro is the new Big Hurt.
