Let's say your Doug Risebrough, do you focus on signing Nick Backstrom first, Josh Harding or keeping Manny and let the other guys get away?

I would trade Manny and work the $4,330,000.00 paycheck he get's into Nicks payday.
Looked like the team played better with a goalie that didn't make passes with his leg pads to the other team every save

Wild have got to sign Backstrom and trade Manny. Backstrom has what it takes to bring the Wild to the next level. I love Manny, but he is getting paid way too much to be a back up. They need to use that money to bring in more skill players. Harding has proven himself to be a solid back up and will do just fine. Wild had a great year and are headed in the right direction, but they need a few more impact players to compete with the top teams.

As long as they trade one of them for somebody who can play and contribute now. If they get some prospects and draft picks too, great but the younger players alone are not enough.

The Wild need to keep Backstrom and Harding and trade Fernandez for either a solid defensemen or a decent scorer.

Keeping Backstrom is a win; Manny's contract for $4,200,000 was ridiculous!
Kalus bio, Possessing good size (6-foot-1, 186) as well as speed and scoring touch, Kalus did not take long to reach the National Hockey League. He began his first professional season last year with Providence of the AHL and posted 13 goals and 17 assists in 43 games. After getting called up by Boston, Kalus scored a goal on each of his first three shots and ended up with four goals and one assist in nine games.

Also get a fourth round pick 2009 draft. Best part of the deal is the $4,2MM off the cap. Now does that just go into the owners coffers?

What does every one predict the WILDS final salary figure to be when the season starts?
$42,800.00 is my guess
