Looks to me that the Pink Panthers will do it again for Tier I Blue and I'm feeling Mahtomedi for Tier II Blue

You are probably correct, except...
The are at least two sub-tiers in tier I
There are 4 teams in a "B" playoff, including AL.
The playoff is this coming Sunday.
AL has a good chance to win that if Christmaseve has a good day.
Overall, the AL girls are improving--this league play was good for the team !!

Al will have no chance of winning their playoff bracket. They barely got by SS in their final game. They were down 3-2 before a nice comback. SS had top 2 players missing. They play a rough game, that is why AL was gassed with 5 min to go in previous game. They need to learn to play far more physical than they do now, or they will be eaten alive.

Against SS, AL was down a couple good players also...and
Their forwards played defense.
Their defenders played forward.
Just having fun, you know?

Actually, the game was close for the first half with Anoka maybe even having the majority of the scoring chances. Pink goalie made some fabulous saves. Pink did pull ahead after that. Anoka also took A LOT of penalties. I felt the game was much close than the score dictated with the exception of the third period.

I personally wouldn't consider the Pink Panthers to be a stacked All-Star team, the Ice Cats though are, the Panthers (Jet correct me if I'm wrong) have been using the same players since they were an U12 team adding or losing one here and there... and from what I saw during the Pink AL game they aren't extremely deep, they have some very good players and they have some average players just like almost every other team in the world they just work together very well and have outstanding goaltending on most occasions
