Give me at least 2 runs and 5 hits of Boofin offense before the 5th inning.

I don't think I am in the least bit greedy here either.

Torii hits the Salami, now that's some offense.

Ortiz and the pen need to bring this one home.

Silva. What a great audition. So far.

Will the Twins get any runs off of King Felix?

TR...shot and a goal so far with Ortiz. Any team could have plucked him from the scrap heap.

Key Stats
Innings: 22.0
Hits: 16
BB: 2

Hits + BB < Innings = great pitching

I hope the Twins have some hits left over for tonight. They will need them against this guy.

From the Old Testement

41 Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to set before the people. He also divided the two fish among them all.

43 and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls (Greek: kophinos) of broken pieces of bread and fish.

44 The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.

42 They all ate and were satisfied

In terms of Ortiz, the Twins are getting a lot from very little invested.

Now, if they could just accomplish the same thing with a hitter. Just one.

Get one Boofin hitter.

No, not Brett Boone. Not Batista. Not Rondell White.

Get a hitter in here so our DH isnt batting 8th.

Isn't that from the New Testament Shanty? And I really shouldn't even know that because I had a public school education.

packerboy, regarding the bat I'm on your side here, but how about some naming some names?

The Twins "humanize" King Felix in the first.

The kick is up and it is...........Good.

The Twins take an early 3-0 after driving the ball deep into Seattle territory on their opening drive.

Keep moving the chains.

After a three and out deep inside their own 20, Seattle's long snapper fires the ball over the punter's head and out the back of the endzone leading to a Twins safety.

Twins 5, Mariners 0

Silva has another good outing. Very impressive. Has he put it all together again?

Twins are recipients of a bad base running move again as they try to send Beltre on Cuddyer/Castillo. Bad move. Is there just something about us?

I thought the New Testament was labeled "Wait until Lent".

For anyone who is concerned about Nathan, just relax.

Remember, they just had one of these.

The competitive, physical, and mental edge he needs everytime out might just be a little off for a while.

Anybody else bothered by Buehrle's no-no last night? The guy spent all of last season getting pounded, and hadn't been anything spectacular so far this season, then suddenly tosses a no hitter? I'm smelling confidence boost which is no good.
