I plan to make a thread for every series this year. Here is the first one, usually I'll put pitching matchups and interesting stats in them, this one there is little to go by at this point. The Mauer situation will be interesting.

The pitching matchup in Game 1 will be Johan Santana and Erik Bedard most likely. Santana is always a bit shaky in his few outings of the year so this game is anyone's guess. Mauer should be ready. Can't wait, only 8 days. Game is on ESPN as well and starts at 6:05.

That's ok because I am going.
It will be interesting to see how the Twins come out of the gate. I'm glad we aren't playing a division series first so we can get our feet wet a little.
Go Twins!

If I'm the Orioles skipper I give Daniel Cabrera the seed in game #2. It amazes me he is a .500 pitcher based on how he shuts down the Twins. He is definitely on the list of players who performs against the Twins.

I like our chances, I am going with a home sweep to start the season.

With Silva out of the way, I can't disagree with that.
Ortiz is throwing well today... 4 innings, 1 hit, 0 BB, 0 R.
It's looking more-and-more like a solid front 3 of the rotation.

I'll be there. Look for the blonde chick with a "BOOOOOOF" jersey on, and I'll be the guy trying to hide in shame next to her.
Don't gorget, the start time has changed from 6:05 to
6:08. That should give everybody enough time for another Honey Weiss on the Plaza.

lol... Give me til tomorrow, and I'll be with ya. For today, I'm just happy they're all back in action so I can start hating them again.

Hit the Boofin ball!

That tidbit was the first thing to jump out at me too. Guess we need to add another pitcher if were not going to score runs....

Cirillo seemed to do just fine. Got on base and drove in a run or two.
