My kid has one on a Vaughn mask. He told me he sees the puck better than than his previous Itech helmet with square mask.

i went from an itech mask to my current vaughn with a certified cat eye cage and didnt really think it made much of a difference. the only really big difference in cages is when you go to the pro "illegal" ones

Yeah i wanted to get one of the pro cat eye cages, but i didnt want an official to notice or anything during an important game.

i already ordered it. You think it looks bad? I personally like the look alot. Im putting it on my GT and it will end up looking like this when i have the new cage on. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-EDDY-GT-Goalie- ... dZViewItem

Ok cool. Did you buy the mask that comes with the cat eye cage, or did you buy the cage seperate?

Do it, I like cat eyes a lot better than normal masks. But I would suggest a Reidic helmet, it's a very good helmet with cat eye mask. Go check them out.

I think they should just let us have the cat eye cages the nhl goalies have because I have and itech 960 helmet and the only way to get a certified cat eye cage would be to pay $400 for them to customize one for me. Of course I didn't do it. I don't see what the big deal is with kids having normal cat eye cages. It's not like you can get a puck through it.

if they wont let college hockey use them do you honestly think theyll let youth hockey use them.

It's not the puck they are worried about, it's the butt-end of a stick....Got a better chance of winning the lottery but we must keep little Johnny safe!
