I believe CP has a very good chance of taking the championship home this year. They have shown that they can play with the top teams beating WBL 2 out of 3, EP 1 out of 2, and beating Edina. Their record isn't the greatest against Edina but showed on Saturday that they can beat them. My prediction is EP and CP in the championship with CP prevailing.

It should be a good tourny. Cannot wait to see who wins it. It's a good tourny because a lot the teams have beat each other at least once. There isn't one team that is stacked for a state win.

White Bear got screwed by the refs to get to state. they called off two of our goals because of quick whisltes but waited to blow it when our goalie had it.

Every year there is a team that "should have made it" but didn't. White Bear Lake this year, Eagan last year and so forth. Show some class and quit crying. It hurts I'm sure, but its over and no one else wants to hear about it.

As for state; I think its anyones game. EP won two and in, but they only played one tough game. Champlin and Wayzata looked the best in regions winning two good games. Edina will play strong in state, I can't see them losing two in a row to Champlin. Duluth and Wessys will be fun to watch with all the bad blood between the two. The last time they played is when Wessy's goalie got hurt. My prediction is Wayzata vs. Edina in the championship, your guess is as good as mine as to who would win.....

a great second round game would be EP and Wayzata two teams that always seem to be in state and are huge rivals... also on the bottom bracket Edina and Duluth would be a good game as well. id say look for one of those four teams winning it all!

I think the quarterfinals will go like this:

EP over Moorhead
Wayzata over Minnetonka
Edina over Champlin
Duluth over Wessy

EP's goalie really wasnt that good... wow they shutout moorehead congrats howd he do against wayzata?

Wayzata 3
EP 2

wayzata has by far the best goaltending in the state

Was that a joke? Wayazta doesn't have the best tending in state. Not even close. That's just my opinion. EP's other goalie played in the first game and shutout Moorehead. That same goalie from Moorehead, who played EP close, played against Minnetonka and didn't do well. Ep played the other goalie against Wayzata. One goalie against Moorehead, the other against Way. I think EP does have one of the best goalie duo in state. Gave up the fewest goals in league play by a long shot. That helped the team because they didn't score many goals.
