There are a couple listed that to my knowledge have been rumored but not released officially. Of course I may have missed those official announcements. Or they could be inaccurate. Please keep that in mind. There are also a couple rumored commitments not listed and also not confirmed officially. One I heard first hand from the player and for whom there has been much speculation...but I'll leave that alone for the player to make it official. Any corrections or additional info / knowledge welcome and appreciated.

I know we had this discussion before--I'll assume your first hand confirmation is EC to BSU unless you deny it.

This brings up an issue I'm not familiar with. When do we start to hear about the late signings and when do they end? I assume most D1 coaches want to have their ducks in a row very soon. Are they in a period right now where they're free to make announcements, or do they have to wait until the college season is over?

No first hand knowledge, but I've heard it so many times from so many different sources, including her bio published in the PP and LPH for the initial 10 Ms. Hockey candidates that I accept it as fact. Readers should keep in mind many listed have not been officially released by the institution. The list is comprised via info received...informally and should not be read as 100% verified fact. I do have first hand info on some from players themselves though. Too much work for me to get more detailed or specific. So, you can disregard the info if you'd rather wait for official release on schools websites. Not a bad policy. Which I practice myself at times.

I know 2 of the 3 but I'm not certain as to if they've been officially announced yet? Maybe all 3 are public, I don't know...

Cody didn't sign at early signing to see if she could get any looks from elsewhere. If you saw her play, you'd wonder why she never got any looks or offers from anyone other than BSU. She is a diamond for BSU!!

Getting no looks from anyone besides BSU is surprising and strange given her abilities. Good for BSU though. She'll help them alot. Hear I assumed she went there over other options due to a connection with Serty. That's (Roseville) a connection that could certainly help him build a competitive team at Bemidji IMO...with the talent in the Roseville system.

As a BSU alum, I was hoping Cody would end up in Bemidji. She's simply the best all-around player I saw last year. Regardless, I can't believe she received no other offers or 'looks'. And even if that were the case, that's fine too--maybe this will ensure the Lady Beavers will come down and win one at Ridder for the third straight year.

This is true. She plays on the AAA team I "coach" and she's outstanding! Another one of this trio has decided but may not be public...

That's great news too--BSU can use a big, strong sniper like her. Bauerfeld, Cody and E.Johnson is a pretty good in-state recruiting class. They have another year with all-world goalie Brookshaw and Ptachick is waiting in the wings.

Congrats to this trio and all the others going D1 - great representatives of the talent here in MN!!!

I'm so happy for Steve Sertich. IMHO he's done a fabulous job of landing some big names locally. Question is, what has Halderson done???
