I was Just wondering how this team is doing in districts?
They squeaked by Champlin Park 4-3 in round 1 avenging an early season loss to the Rebels (4-1). They seemed to have lost some of their mid-season luster as of late but are still solid.
Round 2 is tonight in Mora with ER favored over Pine City and Centennial Red favored over Champlin Park.
ER vs Centennial on Saturday could be a huge game. If Blaine beats Chisago (earlier on Saturday), then both Blaine and Chisago are guaranteed a spot in regions and the loser of the ER vs Cent game will NOT make it to regions, even if they win the third place game (Chisago was guaranteed, at worst, the #2 D10 seed by winning the league standings).
Pool winners meet on Sunday as do the pools runners-up.
