It will be another close game, however, I think Woodbury will come out on top again.

Woodbury will show their true colors in a loss to Tartan.

I think one of the main questions is will Tartan get real cheap if they're losing.

Tartan can play .. if they come to play (theyve won games against good teams, n lost to ones they shoulda beat)... theyve shown if they can work hard they can dig up goals even if they are not pretty...
I think if they stay outta the box, play solid D n in nets they can pull it off..

I think you have to know that they haven't
come to play in a month. 3-6 in their last 9 games, and the wins were against Sibley (1-23 record, 5-1 win), Simley (6-20 record, 3-1 win), and Hastings (4-22 record, 2-1 OT win).
Of those 6 losses, 3 were against "subpar" teams... Mounds View (8-17 record, 4-2 loss), NSP (8-17 record, 2-1 loss), and SSP (12-13 record, 3-2 loss).
I'm honestly asking... what is there in the last month that is generating this much confidence? I mean really - this sounds just crazy to me, and pretty much everybody here who isn't from Oakdale (although my mom lives there - nice town... except for Tartan).

Predicting Woodbury 5-1

Two good goalies. Woodbury has fast fire power and good defense. I have only seen Tartan play once..that was last night. They were terrible at defense and terrible at offense. Wood will need to stand on his head. The ref's once again stood in the way of power plays for the Raiders. No calls on obvious tripping and elbow calls. I was almost like they were really blind. Woodbury by at least 3. Tartan start packing now..it's all over. Wood will go on tho... very good goalie

Look at Woodburys record, other than WBL early, They too have only beat teams with losing records.

Look at Tartans record.. who ahve they beat that is good? nobody... they lost to NSP.. woodbury beat NSP 10-0... like i said before all the tartan has is wood... and he wont be enough... And there is no shame in losing games to Teams liek roseville, Cretin, and WBL... All top 10 teams...

Tartan 1

I just want Tartan to win because they are in the CSC and if they do have a chance of taking out CDH.
Read the Richfield thread guys, anything's obviously possible.
Woodbury win on paper, but 1-0 against Blake, 2-0 Farmington, 4-0 Simley, 1-2 Forest Lake, and only beating the team they are playing 3-2 are all things that show this one can go either way.

the 3-2 game earlier can't be taken that seriously into consideration... it was the first game of the year for both teams and that was in november... and Forest Lake isnt a bad team... they did tie cretin...

Are you trying to sell your point that Woodbury is ripe by posting the results of games in which they had 3 shutouts?!
I'm not buying.

I'm not saying anything either way, I haven't seen either team play this year. But the teams they shut out are teams that any good team would've beat by a bit more.

Well i am predicting Tartan to UPSET Woodbury, i dont think that they have a chance against CDH. CDH, although they played sibley, showed that they are a force to be dealt with. They came out flying and i dont think ANYONE in the section can stop them right now

If that explanation isn't good enough, I'll give you a little analogy:
Tartan has enough of a chance to beat Woodbury as Richfield does to beat St Thomas.

So you guarantee a tartan victory?
