Buffalo @ Moorhead 2-24-07

The (13-9-4) Buffalo Bison will be traveling up to play the (23-1-1) Spuds of Moorhead on Saturday for entrance into the Section 8AA Final a week from Thursday. Buffalo is by far the underdog, but after a big win against Duluth East, we all know it's not impossible for them to skate with the big dogs.

its not gonna happen, but man that would be sweet. moorhead gets too full of themselves. It would be nice for them to go out now instead of having to take home yet another runner-up trophy from the X.
realistically though spuds win by 4

Moorhead won 8-1 earlier in the season. But if Buffalo could rally for the title that would be pretty darn sweet.

Moorhead is awesome...even as an opposing team you find yourself dazzled by their play. Buffalo will need Zitur to stand on his head and shoulders and pinkies but the wild card is Moorheads goalie..can Buffalo keep the Spuds forwards honest and capitalize on any chances they get. if they do they could pull it off...Spuds better watch out as Roseau seems to be flyin...

If they win this game they wouldn't win any title, except maybe upper half of 8AA bracket champions. They would still have to get through the winner of Roseau vs. Bemidji to get to state.

And I just went with history...
Do I think Buffalo can beat Moorhead? No.
Do I want Buffalo to beat Moorhead? No.
I want to see Moorhead and AHA in the State finals.
Do I think Bemidji can beat Roseau?
History... 3 to 2 in their rink.... It might be a possibility.
Why do you think I formed the alliance and got Bemidji the #3 seed?

This Moorhead team is on a mission to become the first state champion from Moorhead. They will not overlook the Bison. I see them pouring it on to a 7-0 win.
It is tough to keep it close playing in Moorhead no matter what team you are. Spuds take this one and look forward to a great game against Roseau at the mini Ralph.
