Some great games played this weekend, congrats to Minnetonka for beating two excellent teams. Two of the best games I have seen all year in peewees and bantams. Should be some good games this week also. Tonight Minnetonka vs. Burnsville and Edina Green vs Waconia!!

Any predictions? Ill go with Minnetonka-on a very hot streak 4-2
and Edina Green 3-1 over Waconia

For future reference I think you want to place the winning teams score first when predicting the score, and refering to who the winning team is. So I think you mean:

The Burnsville game was a great game. The game went to 2OT. Burnsville looks good and my prediction is that they will go to regions. Burnsville's size will carry them through the losers bracket.

In the Tonka Blue game, the refs called a lot of ticky-tacky penalities and Tonka took the majority of those calls. I don't think the outcome would have been different, but stop with the questionable interference calls, especially on the face-off.

Minnetonka white is playing solid also, have recently beaten 3 of the top 15 teams and are 9-2 in their last eleven games. They were shorthanded last night with just nine skaters but all should be back tonight.

Sixers, why was White down to nine skaters? To survive for 3 periods of 15 minute stop time, that is quite an accomplishment.

Maybe it was due to Ash Wednesday. Will Tonka White have any gas left after the win over Tonka Blue. I quess the right nine skaters skated. Should be some good hockey tonight. FYI, Section 6 game tonight at Braemar, Edina and Prior Lake. The place will be packed with the HS game and D6 games.

They were on an out of town school camp Wolfe Ridge.

Looked like a close game. Tonka briefly had the lead but Bville came back and scored two quick goals to seal the win and go to regions.

White played a good game.

Bville and Green tonight. Winner plays White tomorrow. White has to lose two to not be D6 #1.

D6 has a good chance in regions but it will be a showdown with D3 (Wayzata/MG). If Buffalo is the D5 #1 and that is the same team from their tourney at the end of Jan. then I don't think D5 will have much of a chance in regions.

D6 I think will lose against D3(Wayzata Gold Or blue)

Both Wayzata teams won against both Edina teams in the finals.
