Your precious Spuds from runnerupville and their Spudaholic fans seem quite pleased over a 1 goal win to a team that AHA beat 8-2 or something.
I guess its just lucky for your Spuds they werent playing Teeth Ribber Falls or some other conference power.
If your Spuds make it down to the Holy City, theyll have to bring a little more than that.
Its the big city down here and its full of Catholics.
Its also full of Stars.
Something wonderful is going to happen.
Only 15 days Until Lent...Wait.

Not real exciting right now as this Great One would readily attest. However, CDH has 2 huge games coming up vs Roseville Area and WBL Area this Thursday and Saturday. Lets see some of the posters there. The games are at Roseville and Aldrich.
OK , back to beddy bye

God is everywhere,
and THE SPUDS rule
Stars are going nowhere,
followed only by a fool.
Moorhead is the best,
the catholics will only vent,
and then be ready for a rest.
If you don't believe me, just wait until.....
Hell freezes over because that will be when AHA wins another title.

Just cannot get the hang of it.
And where is my 'fiend', AP?

I am sure AP is fine and doin just great
How much of the bored can anyone tolerate
His Pioneers keep winning , at least for today
Their next big game is against STA
After that the Spuds is the team they will greet
Ill have to get over and see that track meet
Elliott's rhyme is better than most
But his favorite team will end up burnt toast
Cuz the Holy City will bow to the Catholics intent
Oh boy, only 2 more weeks ...to Wait Until Lent

A lot of "fall aways" around here.
Slapshooter has "fallen away" from rooting for the Catholics and now elliott "falls away" and renounces the Spuds as his favorite.
Well luckily, its that time of year when we can reconnect with Faith.
The Lenten seaon is a time for reflection, prayer and fasting.
Not to mention fishsticks, macoroni and cheese, tuna casorole and lots of hockey
We will will reflect , pray fast and go into Lent with Catholic teams in contention for the crown.
Ash Wednesday is the 21st of February. Most sections start play the day before or after.
Will it all happen as foretold herein?
Will 4 Catholic teams make it to the Holy City?
Will 1 Catholic team win it all.
Will AHA's best player get out of that cast?
For the answer to these and other questions we need to:
Wait Until Lent

I still thinks the Spuds of 06-07 rule, but my favorite teams ahve to be Bemidji, Int'l. Falls, Roseau, and Grand Rapids. (This year anyway.)
My favorite Catholic teams are Hill-Murray, AHA (because of Galen Nagle, I guess), and maybe Duluth Marshall (from my younger days).
I do NOT like STA.
I don't like Cretin in hockey but one of my favorite HS baseball programs.
I cheer for Little Falls and Fergus Falls.

elliott, you just cant have that many favorites. In Minnesota, we make you pick one.
BIAFP and his ultra liberal tax and spend big governmemt pals want to pass legislation that forces you to pick one..AND you have to do it at age 14 or suffer the consequences of their wrath. Indeed, puckstopper is praying for some harsh punishment.
The same mush brained lefties who gave us open enrollment now want to legislate against choice of school after puberty.
So pick a favorite now or you will be banned for a year and dont even think about changing.
If you do posters like goldy will tell his close personal friends in the MSHSL offices and you'll be in big trouble.
OUch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gettin kinda bossy ain'tcha PB?
I say if he wants to have 100 favorite teams, (well at least he has a better chance of picking the state champs). then let em.
But, anyway; meanwhile,
My favorite teams are the secitonal champs from 8A and 8AA.
And as I will always remind you:
Come March,
MWWIA

Thats right TT, I am just keepin up with the times. Once you turn 14, all decisions in life are final.
Listen, the Spuds arent gonna win. Id hate to see you and your buddy slapshooter make a mistake so Ill give you 14 days to change your mind and go with the Catholics as you should.
14 days. After that there is no turning back because in 14 days it will be Lent.
I just cant Wait Until then.

There will be no gallows for packerboy and his teams
Its the Spuds and publics who will do the Saddam scene
The Spudaholics cant seem to take the 12 steps
It is the Catholics success that they need to accept
Its not in their control, cant do anything to prevent
Another Catholic sweep that will happen this Lent.
The phobics will chant and whine about cheating
While the Catholics just laugh and hand out a beating
All of our recruiting and daddy's money we spent
Will get us the titles...just Wait Until Lent.

The Spuds and the Jackets get the titles... they have Elliott's consent.
Even great writers need a good editor...
Sorry PB, but I had to correct it.

Very nice job Elliott!
Barring traffic conundrums, I'll be at tonight's Holy Clash between the unwashed Roseville Raiders and Cretin's Holy Crusading Raiders. Just something to do while we wait for Lent, should be a dandy!
