This kid will make a great defenseman for Hill-Murray!
Reminds AP of a Bob Conroy story (in a sectional game versus a kid named Lynch)....

Wouldnt be the first time I fanned one but obviously it was a shot at just about everybody....except PB of course
But here is a little pre Lent poem to wet your appetitite for whats ahead:
Intelligent Design is in what we believe
Its goes really good with macaroni and cheese
Hot tuna casserrole with crushed chips on the top
There are 4 Catholic teams that the pagans cant stop
Raiders, Pioneers, Stars and Red Knights
They'll be in St Paul to fight the good fight
Family paks of fish stix we will eat 'till we drop
Hey, can I have mine with tartar sauce on the top
The menu for Friday is what's State(d) above
Wait, dont forget salmon patties, the ones we all love
No one can stop this forth coming event
So sit back and relax and just Wait Until Lent
CORRECT SIR!!!!!!!

Nothing but sheer blasphemy TT.
Why do you suppose they chose to have the State Tournament during Lent then? Huh?
Nothing to do with Hockey? ...sheeez.
I stand/sit corrected again PB.
Hockey is as close as you can get to religion.
Otherwise, why would we spend so much time in this forum????
That being said,

I agree Anklets.
That's the problem with HM these days.
In the earlier days, an HM player wouldn't have waited for her to wade in,
he would have stretched out and nailed her.
Not waited for her to get too close to the goalie, i.e., met her at the blueline.
Now the typical SPUD of today would have stretched out and clobbered her.
Just like they will do to HM come Feb 17th.

Well Mo, it looks like Snake has his Fat Tuesday outfit all ready to go.
Here is the deal , so better get it down
4 Catholic teams are comin to the Holy town
The public schools' time is over and done
Its our time now and we're havin all the fun
Schwans Cups and State Tournaments the Catholics do rule
"Oh its because you recruit" whine the conglomorate public schools
The sour grapes and bigotry we really cant prevent
Thats why we have threads called "Wait Until Lent"

Well, its time for a little "reset " of the season.
AHA is 16-0-1 and coming off a win vs Shattuck. They dont have a very difficult schedule head of them but do play BSM.
BSM is having a nice season. They are 14-5 with only AHA as a tough test remaining.
CDH is 14-4 and slugging it out with the conglomorates in the SEC, which packerboy has labeled as 2007's toughest conference.
CDH has tough games with Roseville Area and WBL remaining with conference championship implications in play. But in the SEC, no foe can be overlooked. This schedule could be of great benefit upon arrival in the Holy City.
HM is 15-2-1 with their only losses coming to AHA. They have games vs Wayzata, STA and Moorhead remaining. I wonder if there will be any "trash posting" going on regarding that regular season finale.
The 4 AA Catholic teams featured here all have a great shot at being in St Paul come Lent.
Under the shadow of the Cathedral at the Xcell.
Never before have so many Catholics looked forward to Lent.
I for one, can hardly Wait......Until Lent, that is.

I didnt think so.
I certainly wont say anything about how the Spuds and their Spudaholic fans from runnerupville will get mashed by the Catholics in green.

I see these waters have become infested.
But on the frozen water the Catholics keep winning.
CDH beat Blake 5-2
HM beat the hockey team formerly known as So St Paul 11-1
AHA prevailed over Prior Lake 8-1
Amazing seasons for our proud Catholic teams featured here.
AHA hasnt lost;
HM has lost only twice....both times to AHA;
CDH has lost 4 but only one since they were back full strength and that was an OT thrilla with WBL.
BSM has lost 5 times ...3 of those losses coming against one of our great Catholic teams.
Is it any wonder that we pick them in this thread to all get to the Holy City and March against the 30 year tyranny of the pagan infidels.
But who will they be up against? Packerboy has prayed to the L

yd for answers to this question , since HAL has once again become unreliable in matters of ranking.
Here goes
Section 1: Somebody from Rochester.
Section 2: Catholic
Section 3: Catholic
Section 4: Decline to send a team
Section 5: Catholic
Section 6: Catholic
Section 7: Duluth East ( this pick was made for the sole purpose of sucking up to Lee so we can have the thread moved back to the main forum which is very boring right now)
Section 8: Some team that has no chance and never will
There it is. The full field for your 2007 Tournamnet. You'll see, just.........
Wait Until lent

Thats exactly right AP. That thing will be good for couple of dozen family packs of fishsticks and thats about it.
Come Lent time the Catholics will be eatin those fish "just like l said " and just like they did last year.
When I was a kid I couldnt wait until Christmas.
Now, I just cant Wait Until Lent.
