Stealing and raiding is a difficult life
A little reward and a little more strife
Just like a wave with a crest and a trough
Some days in battle you’re a little bit off
The home port was breached and that can’t be denied
But not a rat in the hold, sat down and cried
With not a buccaneer afraid, it is time to set sail
Off to the next raid, behind an easterly gale
With the fleet sneaking westward, hardly making a peep
They eye the Civic and an Eastside season sweep
For those still wondering about last night’s a bleeding
All being wagered was a little bit of seeding
Comith to the end and that big playoff fight
Still be on board with he who lost last night

This whole Pirate thing will come to an end
Its to Davey Jone's locker their season will descend
Captain IS will go down with the ship
As soon as Lent comes, their fortunes will dip
On the Bucs chances IS will not give"Up"
But the team would need slappy to play like a pup
"For" if the 5th line center to town would return
A title they' d "Grab(s)", a prize duly earned
But The Great One is old and not up to the task
So a trip to St. Paul is "Out of Their Grasp"

A God fearing man this Packerboy is
When it comes to the scriptures, he’s certainly a whiz
But way up north he can no longer predict
As the Catholics have been gone since Mt. St. Benedict
This year is different, El nino will make sure
Wait and observe as odd events will occur
As the Pacific still warms and the winds change direction
A new power will rise from this here 8A section
When our ship hits the beach we'll sqaush all the crabs
For this is 8A, and it's all up for grabs

Good One IS. PB is living in the PAST!!!
However, after last night, I am flip flopping on de PI-RATES.
I don't think they are quite there yet.
But we will see tomorrow against the Mighty
GREEN WAVE!
Can the PI-RATES ride the WAVE?
By the way, the two best mascot names in Minnesota are the
GREEN WAVE, and the now defunct
BLUE WAVE of Mt. St. Benedict.

Up for grabs?

AHA "clobbered" Red Wing by 8 to just 1,
And Rochester JM(9) got in on the fun!
when Mankato East(2) took a similar beating,
losing by seven, after folks were done eating!
When Dodge City beat Waseka by 5 to their 2,
There wasn't alot that Waseka could do!
Rogers took Princeton and shut them right out!
6 goals to nothin' they scored with a shout!
And what about Monti vs STMA?
Just like I said and just like I say!
No longer content as a bottom feeder!
Posting 4 goals to none, for the Minnhocking reader!
"Sudden Death" for the Pirates(1), surprised by PR(2)!
Better trade in that ship, for a bus or a car!
Grand Forks Red River(2), took Warroad(1) to task,
How could that happen?, some Minnhockers ask!
Don't ask Bemidji(1), who lost to those Prowlers ( 8 ) ,
Or you'll be fixin' your teeth, with your extra dollars!
I wouldn't ask Austin(1), 'bout Mankato West(9) !
You'll be takin' a loan, to pay for the rest!
While Rochester Mayo(3) beat ol' Owatonna(1),
I was pickin' the bones off my pet piranha!
Lakeville North(3) lost to ol' Century(4),
Lourdes(4) nearly the same to ol' Albert Lea(2)
Yeah Rapids(3) and Hibbing(3) skate to a tie,
New Prague did beat Hutchinson by 4 though scored 5!
Coon Rapids got beat by Andover in OT!
In "sudden death" it looked like to me!
It's all "Up for Grabs", CR said "who knew"?
When Andover scored the 3rd, but CR had just 2!

Who cares about those scores somebody may ask
For most teams mentioned a trophy is "Out of Their Grasp"
Although its exclusive...just for the top eight
Every team dreams ...of doing something great
Teams are
"Up for" the challenge, they want it so bad
Its the class trophy that they want to
"Grab(s)"
So lets hear it for slapshooter for lettin us know
About all the scores and the teeth that cost dough

WOW!!!! Is this really a hockey site??? Did you guys really play hockey??? I am so impressed with the liberal arts education you all must have received. Doubt you would find such poetry at a football site where the most intelligent thing said would be:
"YAAAAH. Heh, give me another beer."

But if he is 1/10th of what his dad is...*
Then he, too, is a class act.

So much mumbo jumbo, between reportin' games!
They don't know much hockey, and they don't know the names!
But the "Great
ne" shows in "rapid fire" what is goin' on!
By logging in to Minnhock, and "post" it like a song!
Like when Stillwater(2) and Woodbury(2) skated to a tie!
And when Roseville(2) did with Cretin(2), Cretin wondered why!
Those crazy Jags(5) and Rosemount(5), got in on all the fun!
Maybe they'd have better luck, playin' hockey in the sun!
Tonka and Wayzata said, "we can do it too" !
Their game did end all tied at 3, with winter crawling through!
How 'bout Willmar(3) and Apollo(3), neither one would win!
B(_!_)t when SLP(3) took on Benilde(7), they just got beat again!
Roseau(3) thought about it, but decided to do better!
Shutting out Thief River Falls(0) and scored an "empty netter"!
STA(4) did the same, to Richfield(0) just this night!
Like Buffalo to Princeton, yeah, 5 to nothin's right!
Or more like Breck(5) did to SPAMP(0), giving them a "pasting" !
Not as bad was WBL(5), and what they did to Hastings(2)!
A little worse was Simley(1) who "faced off" with Hill/Murray(5) !
Or like Sartell(0) proved to Little Falls(7), the "flyers" needn't worry!
Minnehaha(2) took on Blake(6), who were several posters pick!
Looks like Minnehaha got the short end of the stick!
Red Wing(4) defeated "Shako"(2), with another empty netter!
They must've known it's "Up for Grabs", and read it like a letter!
Three more games played this night, ended 2-1!
EGF(2) and CR
KST
N(1), had not the only fun!
There was JM(2) vs Mayo(1), and Bursnville(1) with EP(2) !
Imagine how Lake South(2) felt, when Eagan(3) netted three!
And that's how High School Hockey goes, to cure the winter blue!
Like Orono beatin' Mound, by a score of 6 to 2!
So "T
NKS" a lot to everyone, who took the time to listen!
It's plain to see it's "Up for Grabs", a fact that we're not missin' !
S
S (...a legend in his

...because of MO I'll let you know I had to edit more...
...so that folks don't wonder why, to post the latest score...
