Very interesting...It seems that Randolph as gotten the boys to shake off that pre-holiday funk that they were in. That next Cloquet match-up is really looking like fun! \:D/

Well this is a bummer! Now they have to put it behind them and get ready for Saturday..another tough one! Hope they do better with the home town crowd. I know they have never had any luck at the DECC, just something about that place.

aha stars. white didnt look very good tonight your right about that, but how can you say he didnt do anything he scored there only goal.

hawkyfan how can you say rapids doesnt have any luck at the decc, does section 7aa champs ring a bell?

I think he meant against East at the DECC. They beat East there in 03 and that is the only one I recall, and that was regular season. Rapids did lose to East 5-2 at home last year on this same game in the schedule, so I don't think it's time to hit the panic button.

You never look good when you lose 5-1, but again, you have to tip your hat to East. They are playing well.

only goal but way to late. he needs to step it up for rapids to have a chance in sections. last year he did in state but the bottom line is he needs to play better for them to win games

Just goes to show you East can play some puck. Thumped the Hawks tonight and wrapped up a 1 or 2 for sure. Some things never change...east is tough in 7AA.

GR what the heck they still have games with Cloquet and East....they are not out of it. Quit being so presumptuous.
GR
2-2-1
Barnyard
1-2-1
Tell me Einstein where does Brainerd get ranked? It is open season on the 3 spot plain and simple. GR needs the win on Saturday more than you know.

So Forest Lake gets no respect at all?

Sure if Brainerd wins those two games, but losing 6-1 to FL and 5-2 to Tech you actually think there is a chance for them to beat East or CEC, give me a break.

The DECC and Luck have nothing to do with playing east you need to show up for the game and go to work.

Correct

PASTRAPIDSFAN man that statement is 100% correct. In hockey there are no excuses.

Patrick was handled by East fairly well. They were very well aware of his hockey abilities and obviously used a solid game plan to try to stop him.

Question for Bob Lee. Rumor round the rink last year is that the Chickenhawks get skated very hard mid week. Not to excuse their pitiful 1-5 performance at the DECC but did this club t-fizzle after the late night road trip to the I-Falls. If so coach needs to rethink his strategy for big 4 point games and get his lads ready for Randolph and company.
