Thanks for doing this again, Lee. Some random comments:

-For all our talk about how Edina is the gold standard, it's interesting to see that they only passed Roseau in the past 5 years (though separating out Edina East probably makes a difference).
-Nice to see East up to #4, though that's probably their ceiling for the foreseeable future.
-Overall, amazing how many teams in the top 20 are not terribly relevant or even nonexistent now.

I was thinking about doing a similar project with only the "modern era" in mind. Modern era defined as since the Class AA/Class A inception in 1993-94. I can't consider the two years prior to that being an AA/A thing because the Tier II was basically Minnesota's version of the NIT tournament. How could I award points to a team which wasn't seeded in the top eight in their section? Because that's what the 1991-92 and 1992-93 seasons were.

I'd like to see the modern era version. It would most certainly favor the cites team, but, that's the way it is these days.

It certainly does. 11 of the top 25 teams in this survey were outstate teams. Only 7 of the top 25 in the Modern Era are.

#4 is East's ceiling for sure, considering how far they are behind #3. Far more likely that they would drop to #5 with Rapids not far behind them.

Realize DE just keeps rolling and BJ has dropped off the past 10 years, and this is a points based system...but regarding the eye test, I'd rank Jefferson over the Hounds All Time, as 22 >16, BUT 5 >3

I believe Benilde has only one AA title, in 2012.
