Who knows the whole story behind the DM girls Tier 1 team a few years back? I know DAHA said no. I know it was a legal battle. I know Marshall got their team. So confusing. Marshall gave up that team before the current Tier 1 "consideration" going on under MN Hockey, or maybe they'd have to fight that battle again?
What does "east" have to gain by leaving DAHA? Won't have to schedule any DM youth teams, and the cost of ice goes way up? Again, so confusing.

Hard Water Fan could tell you the story behind all of that. His daughter was on that team and he was involved with all of the steps. He pops into the Girls High School Forum once in awhile. If you post it there or PM him he will eventually answer you.
