Not blaming the coaches. Just saying that a guy that could keep all his kids would have an advantage. Sorry if I was confusing. I agree MSHL needs to do something. Maybe conference games during the week and tournys on the weekend.[Like Bantams] I really don't know.

I was surprised to read this. I thought Lettieri leaving was a done deal?:
http://www.mnhockeyhub.com/news_article ... r_id=32760
Lettieri’s father, Tino, said a decision on where Vinni will play next season – Minnetonka High School or with Lincoln, Neb., in the USHL – will be made after the Ivan Hlinka tournament.

Is Brodzinski confirmed for sure or still unknown? According to this list it is confirmed, but the rumor mill is that it is not confirmed yet

Poor Ahlgren barely gets 2 sentences at the end of the article. Classy David La Vaque, who I am guessing lives in Blaine.

What about "poor" Heinrich made Final 54, made Nationals, signed with Div. I program and HS team played in State AA final and only got couple more sentences. lol

Quite a bit of talent leaving again this offseason for juniors, but at the same time it shows the ability Minnesota has in developing players for the next level.

23 going into '10-'11, 21 going into '11-'12, 16 so far this year.

Guess I cant really argue with that stat right there, but it shows that we continue to send players to other leagues each year at a rather high number each year.

Marshall Tema D St. Louis Park
Went to Wichita Falls tryout camp last weekend and I was told by SLP he is not playing HS this year. Went on Wichita Falls website but didn't find his name on roster? Anyone?

Haven't heard this players name before. What's his background?

Word is Sean Lang is off to Coulee Region in the NAHL. Yet another example of poor decisions and the name game with the "Elite" League driving a strong, qualified senior out. Lang absolutely belonged on the Southeast roster of the Elite League.

I agree, the STA connection pretty much forced this kid to look elsewhere for a place to play this fall.

That league is not as strong as the Minnesota Junior Hockey League. Maybe there's more to the story?

Agreed!! Kids will be digging themselves a hole by not leaving (what a shame) until we can get rid of these ugly politics and the people behind it. How is this allowed to even happen?

The Elite and Development League appears to be influenced by involved high school coaches. Not a shot at the coaches. If I was a h.s. coach, placing players on these leagues would be a priority. Someone else gets to prepare them for my season! Anyhow, a involved coach seems to get his players this league. Is getting players in this league relevant to winning or job security?

Anybody have confirmation on Tema, Lang, or Tich? I haven't been able to find anything on the web.

Tema is not coming back to SLP, just found out yesterday. E-mail from our Blue Line Club says he is pursuing a spot in the NAHL.

He was a fourth line player last year. Although he did make one of the High performance teams in the spring.

What and where is the "NORPAC" league?
