On to the playoffs though. Does anyone else see St. Francis and Andover being as decently matched as I do? or is it just me. Both have awesome first lines and hot goaltending. Both lack in depth, but obviously the edge goes to Andover. Even though Joey basically is the first and second line since he stays out there 80% of the game. I dont know why I just think these teams match up well.

How would that be a bad thing for Princeton? At least 10 players from Becker have gone to Princeton over the last 10 years. I can name 5 off the top of my head that graduated in 2006. Will actually help them out a little. Not a ton, but take Beckers top line and put them at third line and they would get much more depth. Not saying that they wont have any players playing on a higher line, but just an example.
Did you see the smiley? It would be a huge positive!
I actually have no idea what that thing is or how I should feel about it lol

Do you understand these ones?

I think there could be one upset (all could be closer than you think) from the 6,7,8 spot.
SF has the best matchup with Andover. SF D is suspect (from the D & forwards) so that could burn them. They really laid an egg in playoffs last year too.
Cambridge will have to get the right bounces, stay out of the penalty and make the most of their opportunities. They might get outshot by 20 so goalie would have to play well.
Cloquet is playing well and has a playoff-savvy coach. Never know.

I HATE TO SAY IT.... BUT.... (COUGH, COUGH) go east? KEEP IT UP NORTH! NEXT YEAR IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STORY THOUGH! And in the other game, go forest lake, just in case the hounds choke in the finals, i would rather see east losing to an underdog just because it would tick the whole east end of duluth off that much more

it's gonna be andover vs elks come next thur eve, go elks go huskies andover winning 4-1 vs east while the elks take down the rangers 3-1. the elks 1st line will put the puck in the net, with # 3 goal scorer in the state

Andover basically has 1 line. If Andover's 2nd and 3rd line could score things maybe different.
Plus Andover will get out coached. ELK- EAST has 3 solid lines FL is young with a 1 solid line , should be some good games.

Rangers will have to play a very physical game to beat a deeper elk squad. I can't wait for them to drop the puck.

Should be a good game, Flake has been playing some good hockey lately, hopefully they can keep it up.

Gotta tell ya, I'm actually going to miss seeing all those Rapids and Cloquet fans down here. They represent their schools as well as anybody. It's been eleven years since neither of those teams made the 7AA semis.

That actually is pretty sad. Hence the reason that Andover & ER shouldn't be in the section. I don't have a huge problem with FLake as they are kinda in no-man's land and 7AA works as well as any, but get rid of the metro teams.

Unless a couple teams opt up, it is what it is.

Entire association has been emailed caravan meeting at Tobys at 9. Hope Rangers end up with good sized group of maroon, gold.[not just parents of our players] Problem with day game is youth teams are still playing so those who have younger brothers or sisters can run into conflicts.

Or they decide to stock 7AA with metro teams for the 7, 8, 9 seeds. That's what they seem to do for 8AA.
