bloomington dynassty is coming back as the toppers are peaking now,
It probably would have helped Duluth Marshall not to lose in their section tourny

They are both coming from Section #2!

Century Panthers are way to underrated. Remember that they beat Duluth East and when they come out strong im willing to bet they can give any team a run for their money.

You sir are foolish. And anyone who said "Who cares about A" needs to get their head out of the clouds and admit that A teams are just as good as AA teams. I think they should go to 16 sections and 1 class with a 2 sidded bracket for the actual State Champion or have the A and AA Champion play each other for the honor.

Sorry...

From what I just witnessed at Mariucci in Game 1 tonight...
Edina may score 15 to 16 goals in the tourney, and allow 2 to 3...
If they play as they did tonight, against a very good team, and play shut down D, and add an awesome display of offensive power...
Tonight's game puts all teams on notice... Edina truly looks like the team to beat next week...

I wanted the Baby Blue to win tonight, and at no point during the game tonight did I think, yeah, Jefferson could make this a game...

AA-Edina they played very well tonight against Jefferson. If they continue that momentum they should win.

A teams aren't as good as AA teams, simple as that. Sure, LF and STA are as good as the lower half of AA teams, but could not come close to competing with EP or Edina and teams like that. There is a reason for the two classes, and it's so the kids from smaller towns and smaller schools can get a chance to go to state and win it. They would just have absolutly no shot in a one class system. I'm not saying "Who cares about A", just that the teams are not on the same level as top AA teams.

Nobody can argue that A teams are better or as good as AA teams because they aren't...........But, the funny thing is Edina and Eden Prairie are probably just about the only AA teams that didn't lose to a class A team this year.

What does a smaller school or town have to do with playing level AT ALL?

Oh, we have a bigger school so we have a better team. That makes absolutley no sence in any way.

And in no way am I saying that LF or STA can or can't compete in a one class system, I'm just saying that everyone always thinks AA is sooooo much more great.

First of all, you are a great endorsement for the class A schools english departments. :D The top class A schools can compete with the AA schools, up to a point. I think St. Thomas should opt up, as should some of the other schools if they really want to play in the big tourney.

After last night's session at Mariucci, I have no doubt in my mind that no one is even close to as good as Edina.

I picked EP to win it all, and I'm gonna stick with that because changing a pick is dumb, but Edina is better by a very large margine.

St. Thomas has no reason to opt up. read some of the other threads on that topic. I don't want this thread to turn into that discussion as well. I'm sure alot of people feel the same.

EP wouldn't have been close to going to state w/o Leddy this year, and they probably won't make it next year.
