Not sure who is on the CODP team? Last year they probably played 8 times and each time CODP lost.

I see that the Thoroughbreds website has finally been updated to at least show the beginning of their 2008-09 schedule, including the results from their recent tournament. However as of now the "player profiles" have not been updated and still carry over from last season.

I understand the Fall CODP team lost 8-2 to the Thoroughbreds. Last year CODP and the Thoroughbreds played a number of times - maybe 8?
Does anyone know who is playing on the fall CODP team?

I saw this game. CODP had 10 skaters, and the score was 1-0 Tbreds after one period. Went down hill from there as fatigue didn't help matters for CODP. I'll see if I can find a roster.

Great sounds like both the CODP team and the Thoroughbreds are off to Cleveland, OH tournament this weekend. Not sure who is going with CODP team though I am sure they both will do well.

Cleveland - Ohio Phantom Flames "Ignite the Ice" 19U Tier 1 Tournament - recvd e-mail .......
Two Minnesota teams - CODP and Thoroughbreds - traveled to Cleveland, Ohio this weekend to play in the 19U Tier 1 bracket.
After their first two games, the CODP team and Thoroughbreds are both undefeated at 2-0.
Thoroughbreds beat Grand Rapids Griffins and Gilmour Academy, and face the Chicago Fury tonight in the final pool play game - scores??
CODP fall team beat Belle Tire (Detroit) 5-0, and faced a tough Anchorage Alaska Northstars team but pulled out a 3-2 win - sounds like Chloe Billadue is playing very well in goal. Tonight they will play the host team - Ohio Flames.

Just a few observations: (1) Isn't Stephanie Anderson a forward?; (2) I know one of the twins typically plays D but both are listed as forwards, is this right?; and (3) Wow times have changed, I was looking at the profiles and one of the girls has a 3.6 GPA but was just barely in the top half of her class by rank. In my day a 3.6 would have been at minimum solidly in the top 1/4 and maybe in the top 10% of the class.

Both Dani Williams and Steph Anderson are listed as D though probably played F in HS more than D. Williams made NDP U16 as a forward and looked great. Anderson and Williams are both great kids and very talented who will have great impact either back on D or upfront as F.

If they didn't use the 'points per period' scoring I belive CODP would have played the Tbreds.
Tbreds lost to the Alaska team CODP beat.

SSM 10
T-Breds 3
With a full and healthy roster six different players score for SSM tonight: Kessel 3, Decker 2, Horn 2, Langston 1, Johnson 1 and Cohen 1.
More good hockey on tap this weekend at SCSU with Elite League play.

I can see these scores getting closer as the tbreds get use to playing with each other!

Sounds like Lindsay Burman has an injury and may miss the rest of the season. She is very talented and a big loss. Dani Williams, Kari Lundberg, Stephanie Anderson and others will have to pick up her scoring.
Best wishes on a full recovery!

T-Bred Thanksgiving Tournament is going on. Lots of good teams including Chicago Mission (they play T-Breds 2:30 on Saturday). Culver Academy is also in town with St. Paul's Corinne Henning who is in her third season at Culver and was their leading scorer last season. Schedule is on their site:

Mission 4 Thoroughbreds 2
The game was great action and I like the skating play of this years Thoroughbreds - Kari Lundberg and Stephanie Anderson had great jump and impact. Dani Williams has switched to D and has a big shot from teh point. Schutt played very well in goal.
Coyne for the Mission was clearly the best player on the ice very big impact. The Mission had a lot of NDP players but the Thoroughbreds played them very tough.
