That's really an ignorant remark. Do you really think college scouts are that out of touch? I suspect they know what they're doing at SCSU.
No I don't think its an ignorant remark and no sometimes college scouts don't know what their doing. Look at Minnesota's Frazee....he sucks! Lee has a good glove and covers the net well, but he is SLOW and the WCHA will exploit that weakness just like HM and Benilde.
Well maybe you should apply for a job scouting for SCSU. Sounds like you know it all.

What happened to Roseau? They are not playing Roseau hockey. It looks like getting gooned last night by HM got under their collective skin. They're still a great team, too bad they went out like this. :(
What happened to Roseau is they actually started playing good teams. I've known all year that this would be the time where Roseau gets put in their place. I got sick and tired of people saying "28-0 and defending state champs". THEY DIDN'T PLAY ONE GOOD TEAM THE WHOLE YEAR.

You and Orange & Black can both get jobs scouting for SCSU. I'm going to go out on limb here and say that all 5 posts you've made have all been as brilliant as the above.

Lee's goal against avg. was shown to be exactly what it is...a farce. As soon as he faced good teams and quality shots, he got lit up. I am going to enjoy watching Ness do the same thing in a few years...that is, if Lee makes its at SCSU

Haha, I've had one thread with one post deleted. I'm not sure that qualifies as "a lot of posts". In that thread I showed the amount of top 20 teams that teams like Edina, Tonka, and Roseau had beaten. It was something like Edina beat 8 top teams, Tonka beat 9 top teams, and Roseau beat 2 top teams that weren't even in the top 10. It's basically what I've been saying all year that Roseau is overrated and hasn't played anyone good. And guess what, I WAS RIGHT.

So what happened last year? Don't read to much into one tournament. If you played the semis and finals over again next weekend are you confident things would turn out the same? They are still a top team, having a bad weekend doesn't change that. I think most observers felt it would be one of the top four seeds and it was.

I guess Edina's soft schedule caught up to them too. Maybe they should schedule the Gophers and Wild next year to make sure they're better prepared for the playoffs.

What a dumb comment.

Mr. Lee, would you please settle down, this is a public forum and not the place to defend your son. People have the right to report what they saw in the games this weekend... mainly that "The Ness Show" WAS/IS the most over-rated team in the state, and that they have been all year...

Yep, played the position 12 years. Coached by some the greats including Ed Belfour. You?

You should post your location, that might explain how you ranked BSM ahead of Edina.

Possibly expectations were too high for him. But I saw him play some fantastic goaltending this weekend. Kept them in the game against Hill till late in the third...

I think he looks, at the very least, like a very good high school goaltender.

What a great tourney! I've been reading this forum for some time, and i figured people would be all over Roseau after there performance. After watching them this weekend (first time i've been able to see them), i'd like to add my two cents. I think Roseau was as good as people said they were. They ran into a very good Hill team on Friday who, i would have to imagine, executed their game plan to a T. And they had a hot goalie to boot, just ask Edina. I didn't get to see the third place game, so I won't comment much on it, but it had to be hard for Roseau to sit around all day Saturday waiting to play a game after the night before. Watching Roseau, I thought they were fast, extremely skilled from top to bottom, strong on their sticks, and moved the puck well. I had heard about them all year, and despite the results, I wasn't dissapointed. If you play this years AA tournament 10 times you might have five different winners. That doesn't mean any are bad, or overated. Lastly, Aaron Ness was very fun to watch. I think it was obvious he was the best hockey player in the tournament. I look forward to watching him when he is surrounded by fellow D1ers. He certainly makes everyone around him better. Congrats to Roseau, Benilde, and all the teams in this years tournament.

Can you explain to me how his team won state last year with him in goal then? Did they play teams like Lakeville all 3 games last year? I know someone out there has the answer for me, you all are so smart. I am sure it will be the competition wasnt as good last year, etc. Give it a rest will you.
