It's time for a season sweep of the taters! I don't have a business in town, so please don't attack me.

Ness is only a junior. I don't believe he will win Mr. Hockey.

boblee...he will technically be a senior "credit wise" during this season since he is graduating a year early...thats neither here nor there, because there has been tremendous argument whether he should be eligible or not...personally i think the best varsity player deserves the award...even a freshman...

Mr. Hockey has always been awarded to the best senior hockey player in MN. But I would have to agree that it appears he is the best player in the state. I also know that he will not be considered a senior. Many kids have done what he is doing and were never considered a senior.

Times have changed, eligibility for such awards must change with it.

Of course they were not as good as Ness. I just don't believe we will see that change this season. I also hope we don't. That award is incentive for players to stick around. It isn't the Heisman. Anyways, sounds like Wagner has been good in goal for Moorhead.

Lee has made some big saves, especially in the 1st period. Roseau still leads 4-1.

Roseau definitely sounds tough.
They are gonna be hard to beat.

Yup, it was a blow out, 7-2. I'm just suprised at the "strong" Moorhead student cheering section, they started taking off half way through the third period. I can see if you're the visiting team but never leave early at home unless there's a life or death emergency. Oh well, to each thier own.
Respect

That is a sign of a "new era" hockey power like Moorhead, Centennial, et al. Those things are taught by old time hockey parents and fans. I really don't ever recall Moorhead hockey previous to about 1991.....Not to offend, but is that not the case?
