Down 3-1 after 2 periods, Marshall stormed back in the 3rd with 3 goals to win it. Derek Rasmussen scored 2 goals and assisted on the winning goal with around 1:30 left. Great stuff!

Nice to see Redwood Valley keep it close against Luverne. Hope the Cards get cocky so that Marshall knocks them off.

The cards feel like they lost last night. Getting too cocky is not an option.

Not beating a rival 3 times in a season is an option.

Yikes, that's a scary game for Luverne! For Luverne, they better hope Marshall doesn't have a hot tendy! Otherwise they could be in some trouble. My opinion is that Luverne will win 4-2. My prediction for Hutch and New Ulm is Hutch takes them down 5-4 in OT.

Is 3A back to irrelevancy all of a sudden? What happened to Luverne?

The same thing that happened to NP and MW, but to a lesser extent.

They would have to be relevant first and I believe Luverne broke a nail.💅

Delay of game, 2 min penalty - A player or goaltender intentionally knocks the net's goalpost off its moorings, which stops the play.

What if it happens 15 times in one game by a goalie?

Put some clothes on Luverne, your true character is showing. Regardless of your record, or if you eventually win the section... You are not champions.

You cry for respect but use your next breath to make excuses and make unnecessary slander.

I sure hope you all get what is coming to you.

OLE!

I would love to know how many times either of you have ever played goalie, or if you even know anything about it. Once the net comes off once there is a groove in the ice which makes the force needed to push the net off little to nothing. I wasn't there and didn't see and this case could have been very blatant, but when playing goalie you use your posts as a point of reference as to where you are in the net, the slightest bump at times can push the net off if it has came off previously in that period. Maybe the refs should have put some water in the grove after putting the net back into place and allowed it to freeze? I wouldn't be so quick to point the goalie as doing it intentionally unless it was very very blatant.

It appeared very blatant to me. I don't know if it was 2 "very's", but i think 1 "very" blatant was warranted. Water was applied several times by the officiating crew on both ends Redwood was defending. The net didn't come off on Luverne's tender like it did for Redwood's.

Tactically it wasn't a bad decision by Stremcha to have him kick it off. It was a firing range out there, and many (15 ish) situations where tremendous pressure was being put on redwood the goalie kicked the net off. I can't blame him, hell, it almost worked for him.....

This might be funny if I had the slightest clue what a black lab has to do with anything.

FTR I still think Luverne wins the section... It is what it is.

I remember a Little Falls goalie M Stumph a couple years back conveniently dislodging the goal a half doz times in a game when the pressure got heated near the crease in Sec. Semi final game. This went on from his soph - Sr. Yrs. He was the #1 Sec. 6A goalie. Very good.
