Eden Prairie

The Eden Prairie vs. Chaska score did not reflect how the two teams played. It was more of a 2-1 game, considering that EP had 5 girls in the penelty box at the end of the game. Do their coaches teach them to be cheap? They were up 4-1 and they got 8 penelties in the last 4 minutes, how heartless, and cheap. It was unbelievable.

EP could have played short handed the whole game and without 3 of their top seniors in the stands and still would have won. Who are you kidding? I dont think Chaska has scored an even strength goal against EP in the last 4 years! I think the combined score for the last 4 years must be about 75-5. Give it a rest!

He didnt say that chaska should have beat them. I think he means that EP is arrogant, cocky, and cheap. Arrogant and cocky, much like gopher9!

gopher9 must have not attended the game. either that or he is from Eden Praire and is embaressed for the fact that one girl cross checked a chaska player 3 times straight, a chaska player was checked from behind, or a chaska play was slashed in the head as an eden praire player made her dramatic trip to the penalty box

ya, ive heard stories about how cheap EP is..

by rmmaiv123
haha yes im sure you have. the stories probably dont come close to how cheap they actually are. i think they are coached that way though. one player already has banked 62 penalty minutes

Alex scrimmaged them earlier in the year, and were cheap then. I cant imagine in an actual game. Hopefully they choke miserably in sections..

gopher9

of them 75 goals, how many were scored by true home grown talent? Would they have scored them without them.

As for them being cheap, how about in the game against Jefferson, is a 10 and 2 penalty with less that a minute to go cheap! They only had a 10-1 lead! gopher9, wake up and smell the roses!

shots in the chaska game were 26-27 in favor of chaska. sounds like an even game, but gaoltending must have been the difference. it has been a while since the EP goalie has had to work. go hawks!!!!! i can not wait for your response to this one. ha ha

Hey MN do I have to remind you what went on over at Benilde at the beginning of the year! Maybe some of these people on this forum dont know?Pictures of Benilde girls, suspensions! I am merely sticking up for the people of EP because everybody wants them to loose or have something awefull happen to them. I think some of you parents should take look at yourself in the mirror, because if you think for one minute that your kid has never been to a party when there is drinking going on or was drinking or doing some other form of drug ( MN I think you know what Im refereing to) YOUR KIDDING YOURSELF! And Defense dad if you knew anything about hockey which you dont! Chaska had most of their shots on the powerplay. 2 5 on 3 and in the last 5 minnutes of the game. And Alex fans go argue whith Crookston fans some more! How about leaving EP alone and let them have some fun the rest of the season!! Some great hockey coming to an end. Good luck to everybody!

gopher9, EP players and fans: please accept my apologies for my poor attempt at some humor above. I meant no ill-will toward EP as a school or the girls hockey team. I certainly realize that underage drinking is a lot more widespread than many people would like to believe. I can only hope that the whole situation has made athletes and parents more aware of the problem, and as a result we'll see fewer incidents like this in the future.

gopher9 - you were the one who brought up the drinking issue by bringing up the seniors in the stands. The issue here is does EP play by the rules or by breaking the rules. You only have to look at their penalty minutes tallied up to know that they have more than their share. I don't want to pick on them, I'm only making a comment on the discussion. I hope they are able to enjoy the rest of their season and best wishes to all the seniors.

May I kindly suggest that the EP discussion move to it's own thread or preferrable even end. This one is meant for scores
