Can you please tell me where the breakaways for HF were? The only one I saw was the one at the end of the game where #19 came down on a breakaway and could not score. Otherwise there were not any other clear breakaways by any means. I will have to say that HF did surprise me a little with the speed of their forwards. They worked hard. The Defensemen were big but were pretty slow I thought and Lourdes took advantage of that a couple of times.

I am not sure on the number, but I believe it was #7 for HF that came in on a breakaway on a long pass and hit the goalie in the shoulder or helmet and the puck went out of play.

Another player, again, sorry about not remembering numbers came in and lost the puck on his move when he got slashed from behind. I believe a penalty was called on that one.

Yes #19 at the end was the most obvious one, but there were others when HF was coming in alone on the goalie with Lourdes chasing them down.

Lourdes has a nice team, definitely would not take anything away from that victory. I just thought that the 4-1 score wasn't truly a representation of how close the game was. Just my opinion as an observer.

I will agree that it was not a 4-1 game. I also did not think that HF had 30 somthing shots on goal like someone posted?? I though the shots were a little more lop-sided???

According to the star tribune today shots were Lourdes 37 HF 34.

i agree that was pretty funny lol

I was not able to see the game but I understood that one of their top defensmen was gone out of state, another was ill and from other games played it has not been the case of teams getting that many shots on goal.
Not sure how the D played for Lourdes
Sounds like a good game to watch though.

The Lourdes D was actually not very good at all. But they were missing there Best D-man and they were not really defensively strong to begin with, so with him out it did not help things.

Does H.F. play Delano next?

FiveHole guy you have to be a player for Delano! You sure like to bash the HF team. Did not make the game but from what I heard they did not also capitalize on a couple of breakaways. 10 scored but took it away on a offside call. Also heard HF is not playing good defense. They are not even using 10 on power play from the parent that was there he is suppose to be a great player but they are playing 22,4 way to much and 2both of them got beat numerous times on the outside. Lourdes passing was strong and accurate and basically HF was playing on their heals. As this guy said they need to re-look at D and utilize their stronger guys. They play tonight at Parade he said might try and take part of the game in to see what is really happening and how they actually are looking since the last time I saw them, which was the Providence game.
