I hate to be redundant, but even though the Spuds are in control, the boys are hangin' around.

Rather what I was thinking last night watching Cloquet's top line.

That Christian line plays really well together! That #1 line seems to be in sync everytime they hit the ice!
GR is playing tough, one has to wonder what type of game it would be if GR was healthy

Couple ways to look at it.
Moorhead definitely dominated- but Rapids took advantage of the few opportunities they created.

Spuds are a very good team. Nice to see Rapids capitalize and make somewhat of a game of it. Who scored for GR tonight? Who was out of the line up besides White? Thanks.

Not a very impressive contest from a goaltending perspective. A few of those goals would have easily been stopped by a decent goalie.

Ya, both teams scored on a couple of long wrist shots.

I was not very impressed with Moorheads play tonight....
All of Rapids goals were scored off of Defensive turnovers in their own zone.
I give credit to Rapids who took advantage of the turnovers and pressured the Moorhead defense.
Goal tending was bad on both sides!!!!

Don't annoint the Spuds just yet. There a host of good teams still standing, Cloquet, East and the Barnyard are but a few. Do not overlook Roseau in late February
Whoever comes out of section 7AA will take the Spuds down the "O for ever' trail once again and you can take that to the bank.

You are all right, the spuds didnt bring their A game tonight, but if you didnt notice, Morinville was actually playing 5 D instead of the usual 4, as well as giving the third and fourth lines a lot of playing time. This game was much closer than it should have been.
Regardless, they got the W and I think they're going to be in great shape for tomorrow night against East.
P.S. Neither Moorhead nor Roseau will lose to section 7AA

Lee had been playing extremely well lately. I think he's finally fulfilling his potential.

Yeah it looks like he quit tackling guys for a while!
If he stays out of the box like he did last evening it'll be helpful.

I don't think so. When Grand Rapids gets healthy they will be just as good as anyone else.
Hahahaha. I watched the game in person and GR didn't have a single player on the ice that could play on Moorhead's third line. Moorhead dominated them all night, Rapids D were slow and Moorhead just walked right around them. Give me a break....Give Moorhead the respect they deserve.
