The Rink itself is nice but the ice, in my eyes, isnt that great I would have to say that the Marriuchi (Spelling??) Rink has the best ice. I used to play there a lot

i have played some games at the super rink and i would say they have the worst sheet of ice i have played on. It is a nice place but way overrated.

I like Bloomington Ice Gardens and Braemer. GR is pretty sweet too. New rinks dont do much for me except i do like Aldrich Arena for some reason.
The worst have to be Chaska#2, Parade practice rink, and if anybody has been to Bernie Mcbains new rink in Edina (Minnesota Make Ice Arena) it has terrible ice.

i agree that grand rapids is sweet. lets put aside the little ralph because even though its a youth rink its not even fair to compare them with other youth rinks that dont even come close
1. gardens (warroad)
2. hibbing (name?)
3. braemar (west)

i no this may be a little off topic but has anyone play in the new super rink arenas? in my opinion i dont like them very much just a waste of money

dangla, what are you talking about? a waste of money! its going to be the largest hockey area in the WORLD. during the girls schwann cup, they were using all 8 rinks at once! they have national tourneys there, international tourneys, the US under 18 and 17 team plays in tourneys, bantam tourneys/games, peewee tourneys/games, squirts etc. when they are done building, it will have 10 rinks!!!
super rink

The rinks at schwans arn't bad but the seating sucks for the fans at the new rinks either stand or freeze.

It may not be the best rink environmentally, but AV Hayes. I love the brightness in there and the ice is perfect. Braemar South is a great rink to play in, along with West.
