roseau 6, duluth east 5, good hard game, fast action, first line for Roseau was great to watch. they matched up well with Duluths first line of meyers and shendel, but roseau's first line of Omdahl, Baumgartner, and Leverington was to much for rhem, they had all 6 goals..............................Duluth first line is pretty good also.good luck to both teams this year.

acpal and boblee,
Besides Duluth and Moorhead it sounds like we have some clubs up north that can make some noise around the state. Sounds like Roseau and Grand Rapids may be pretty strong this season too.

Was just at Roseau vs EGF game Roseau coming out on top 6-5.. First period was even second was all Roseau and third EGF played well and kept it tied until about 6 minutes left in game.. Roseau's first line is very good and strong. District 16 is going to have some very good teams this year.

I was wondering if there were any other scores from the pee-wee "A" games this past year.. Any other scores from up north or other Northern team scores. This year.

Roseau beat Bemidji 3-2 today. Roseau changed some line combinations and lost some of their scoring punch.

Grand Rapids moves their winning streak to 9. They have not really had a close game yet except for Duluth East...good start at 9-0...This upcoming weekend they have Brainerd (previously beat 3-1), Crookston, and Moorhead...should be good hockey.

Nice to see strong showings from the north. I've seen the top two Roseau players play for the AAA Northern Blades. They are very good and would make a great first line. If Roseau and GR are both beating D.E. then they deserve higher rankings than they have right now.

buddy you need to watch a little more closely if you think austin head and drew wohlfiel are our only good players.you obviously haven't seen chad mundy, shane mcwhirter,or tanner keller play.

The DC coach has swapped things around during weaker games to allow the players with less talent more playing time. This is not how the team is typically organized to play.
