#1 Hermantown 6
#4 Proctor 3
Final
Hermantown got a some good blows from Proctor but they were just too much for the Rails. The Hawks move back into the 7A Final for the 15th Straight year.

Oof. If Bumgarner doesn’t make NTDP will he play for a 4th different high school in four years next year? I can’t imagine not even making the section final is what Old Man Bumgarner had in mind when he moved the family to Rogers. Sad.

UPDATE: 1-1, first minute in second period. Nice shallow-angle goal from the left corner goal line by Shakopee's Simpson. Pete Waggoner described it as a "goal scorer's goal." Channy has a lot of seniors, Sabers only four but keeping up with the Storm. Tonka has a 3-2 win over Channy and 4-3 over Shakopee (tight games) this season. Winner will face Tonka in 2AA final.

The first #1 seed goes down and of course its in 3A. Gusty Magic strikes again and Marshall pulls the biggest upset of Class A and head to the Section 3A Final

Northern Lakes takes care of their past Otter demons and take down Fergus Falls to move into the Section 6A Final where they will take on #1 seed @alexboyshockey

Orono takes care of business and takes down Providence Academy tonight and they head back to the Section 2A Final where they will take on #3 seed @MPLSBoysHSPuck on Wednesday

Final (3 OT)
Monticello wins the marathon in three overtimes over Little Falls. The Moose score the GWG after missed offsides call and they head into the 5A Final to take on #1 SCC

Hibbing wins a war of a hockey game vs CEC who made a big push to tie it up. The Bluejackets as they did so often in the youth ranks found a way to win and they go to the 7A Final vs #1 seed Hermantown

New Ulm jumped out early and never trailed as they took down Mankato East and they will advance to their 3rd straight 3A Final vs #5 seed Marshall

1965 was pretty good where an unbeaten St Paul Johnson lost in the QF to an 8-win Bloomington team.
Bloomington went on to the finals and lost to an unbeaten Int'l. Falls team in the finals.
It was a nail biter in a 7-0 win for the Broncos to finish unbeaten for the first of two back-to-back seasons.

Minnetonka may be starting a similar string.

FYI, St. Paul Johnson beat Alexander Ramsey 4-2 in the 1965 quarterfinals. Bloomington beat Johnson 3-2 in the semifinals.

Umm... except for 2019. For the life of me, can't remember the team that kept them out of the state. Oh. yeah, Greenway.

Umm...Yes, Greenway beat them in 2019 but the game they beat them in was the 7A Final correct? This just said they are back in the 7A Final not that they won all 15... just 14 of them...

... I think though this is actually their 16th straight section final but some were in 5A and not 7A... Still craziness
