Good win.
Secures 1 seed even though a loss to a decent AA team is not a big negative.

No problem, what so ever! Love the action on the 6A thread, even if it is just us.
If QRF were to be used (which it isn't), then Alex and Northern Lakes would go to head to head and at this point the #1 seed would go to Alex.BSUBeaver wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 12:19 pm LSQ COMPUTER RANKING

What would happen in the QRF world if Northern Lakes won the rematch meaning they split in the year and they were that close. Does 2nd meeting carry weight or do they go to a different metric?elliott70 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 2:03 pmIf QRF were to be used (which it isn't), then Alex and Northern Lakes would go to head to head and at this point the #1 seed would go to Alex.BSUBeaver wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 12:19 pm LSQ COMPUTER RANKING

From Minnesota-scores.net on what happens if two teams are within their "Tiebreaker Margin"elliott70 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 2:03 pmIf QRF were to be used (which it isn't), then Alex and Northern Lakes would go to head to head and at this point the #1 seed would go to Alex.BSUBeaver wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 12:19 pm LSQ COMPUTER RANKING

If two teams are within the Tiebreaker Margin, head to head is the first Tiebreaker. If they split, then it would go to overall win percentage as the teams are not in the same conference/subdistrict.
I think they go to section record.ClassAGuy wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 2:11 pmWhat would happen in the QRF world if Northern Lakes won the rematch meaning they split in the year and they were that close. The way I read it, this would be QRF System wide according to their page. Section win percentage is tiebreaker number 4. In the case of a Northern Lakes/Alexandria "tie", #2 would be skipped. FWIW, both Alexandria and Northern Lakes each play just 6 section 6A games, just making the threshold for tiebreaker #4.elliott70 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 4:49 pmI think they go to section record.
Thank goodness they do not use QRF.BSUBeaver wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2024 8:29 amThe way I read it, this would be QRF System wide according to their page. Section win percentage is tiebreaker number 4. 2. Ranking based on either Conference/Sub-District (C/D) winning percentage OR C/D point total based on the by-laws of the C/D * teams must be in the same C/D
3. Overall winning percentage
4. Section winning percentage (if at least 25% of the teams competitions are against section opponents - if not met, #4 is skipped)
-Football - 2
-Lacrosse - 3
-Soccer - 4
-Baseball/Softball - 5
-Basketball/Hockey/Volleyball - 6
5. QRF points
