STA has been grasping at straws for a few years now. This hire just confirms that. Randolph can coach, no doubt, but times have changed.

Best hope for STA….. John Marshall’s F/R lunch number is high enough they get moved into 1A and they aren’t replaced with Rosemount or Burnsville.

Parents pay at STA, just pointing that out. They have ran out a number of coaches.

Wow only 9 openings from last season from the 30 last year good to see less turnover.

Now sure if these jobs got filled but Class A wise Northern Lakes would be a good one to be at. Bring back most of their scoring and have an A Bantam crew who finished 2nd in State. Curious who was named the Coach with Summer hockey now in full swing!

Per Youth Hockey Hub- David Maley has officially accepted the head coaching position at Breck.

Maley takes over a Mustang team that finished 9-17-0 last season and has 14 returners.

Breck could be a sneaky team in Class A but no where near what they one were.

Also looks like Princeton has hired Andy Fondrink as their Head Coach.

Spent time recently as the A Bantam coach for Armstrong/Cooper and was previously the Cloquet Asst. JV Coach from 2013-2015

I see the Northern Lakes head coaching job is still open according to the Pequot Lakes school district website.

Interesting Openings Still

Northern Lakes will be a very good Class A Team next winter bring back a great core and A Bantam Group coming up took 2nd in State.

Blaine always been a high profile job since the mid 90's STMA up and coming area wealth of young families both have big feeder programs.

Name that rings for me Dave Aus.... Wanted to still coach after getting run out Brainerd ... Was a finalist for Lakeville South...

Maybe return to Blaine? or stay in the Brainerd Area and coach Northern Lakes... Go to STMA do what he did at Blanin in the mid 2000's

Also YHH speculated Jerr Johnson for Northern Lakes...
