Lagerback is likely out (2-4 weeks?). I've not heard any time table for Luedtke to return.

How do you put a time table on frostbite? I guess I don't know what the recovery process is like for that.

Good question - it was just something I read online from one of the articles after it was publicized.

Luedtke started last night against Prior Lake so he's back. Lagerback is still out.

Lagerback suited up for Tonka vs EP! 'Frostbite' seems to have healed...

Brink also returned for Sioux City this weekend, after sitting out a month for fracturing his ankle against the Russians in the World Junior A championships. Several photos of Brink playing on Friday night (including getting crunched at the boards) here:

Unverified rumor that Brink may be interested in flipping to the Gophers:

This mock draft has Brink going to Minnesota in the first round:
"18 Minnesota Wild- Bobby Brink -RW- Sioux City (USHL) – Brink is one of the top players in the USHL this season. He is a deadly offensive player who is quick overall. He is a dangerous player around the net. One of the highest risers in the draft class thus far and has committed to play at the University of Denver."

Gavin Rasmussen for CEC. Got hurt pretty bad in the Duluth East game. Will be reavaluated tomorrow, but I’m thinking he’s done for the year. 🙁

Hermantown has had several players out sick the last 10 days but should be full strength this week.

Nope. But he’s had this before. I’ve git a feeling CEC is going nowhere this year. I can always hope though. Porter, Stoyanoff, and Rasmussen are huge losses.

:(

For sure. HS teams can't just keep going to the well to replace top end players.

Has Maddox Fleming been out? Hasn't scored at all lately in games that Mayo has been scoring a lot.

hockey59 mentioned Nick Williams of Edina not playing against Wayzata yesterday. Did he get a concussion in the Eden Prairie game?

Correct. Took that nasty hit into the boards Thursday night vs EP and concern was concussion. But full exam and multiple looks proved all is well, albeit a nice scuff mark on upper cheek by eye w/ a battle scar. Perfect look for the playoffs. Good young player, smart, plays like the 'Iceman'.

He is, another reliable Edina source told me Nick Williams is good to go for section playoffs, sounds like they held him out yesterday as a precautionary move.
