I was there, in the Johnson student section and went nuts (was there with a Johnson guy). And a good buddy of mine who is a former WBL coach was there as well and he had to endure. He's vowed never to come to another WBL hockey game with me again. For as much as WBL dominated that game, I doubt we'll ever see another comeback like that. How about having a 5 -1 lead over Johnson with 5 minutes left in the 3rd, only to give up 4 goals ( 3 in the final 3 minutes of the period) and then lose it in overtime. I was there, and never have seen anything like it. Priceless

Not to be picky but it's 5. Grand Rapids won 7AA in 2006 & 2007 (finished 2nd at State both times) and Cloquet won 7AA in 2008.greenway1969 wrote:Duluth East has a string of six straight trips to state.
