I'm sure that all teams are motivated. In fact, based on the section's unprecedented strength, these teams may have never been more motivated.

Perhaps, bgd. Whatever 6AA got right or wrong the past 3 years hasn't helped or hurt BSM. One could argue that BSM should have been seeded #2 each of the last 3 years, based on the final results. My memory is poor, but I think they were #2, #1, and #2, so pretty darn close over time. Could they have been #1 this year? Likely yes. Will they finish #1 or #2 again in the sections? Probably, although the seeding gods have it set up to play Tonka again (if Tonka survives Game #1). If they win that game, I think their confidence and motivation propels them over Hop or #4/#5. Again, unbelievable set-up and the other teams around the state continue to thank their lucky stars they're not in 6AA.
