You can't make it up...
This one was predicted by Bo on the Freshman scoring thread a while ago. At least he waited until his season was over.
Bluewhitefan, both Jesse Gabrielle and Alec Baer waited until their respective seasons were over. The only difference between them, is that one of them was cut from their team for merely looking at a future opportunity, and one wasn't. Hats off to Eagan's head coach for not putting his own personal philosophies before that of one of his players, and his team.

And congrats to Jesse Gabrielle. He had a great HS season and should do well in the WHL.

Hunter Warner is playing in Waterloo
Waterloo is USHL.

Warner is committed to MSU-mankato (verbally)

Going to WHL would sacrifice playing in WCHA (or new conference)

I was aware of that, Guess It looked like I meant something else. The WHL comment was in reference to the Gabrielle.

I believe Warner has enrolled in school in Waterloo but not yet confirmed.

This seems like a rose-colored analysis of what happened. And I'm not aware of Eagan's coach making any public statements about the WHL, so it's silly to claim that he did or did not put his personal philosophies on the shelf.

Best wishes to Jesse and his family as he takes this next stride down the ice.

Is there a game limit that you can play in the USHL, in order to come back and play in the MSHSL the following season?

How did Jesse Gabrielle end up in Eagan for a year? Press release says he's a Canadian.

Jesse grew up near the Wheatkings and dreamed of playing for them. He is a great player and nice young man who has worked very hard to get where he is. The best of luck to Jesse and his family.
I for one will be watching the Minnesota boys in the WHL and hope they continue to do well.

Don't forget the stop in Somerset for a year with the Fire..and the detour to Kansas City to play with the Russell Stover outfit.. i would be posting armed guards on the Brandon city limits if i ran the Wheat Kings..i'm sure the grass is greener somewhere..

If he doesn't come back, Sager will just delete all of his points at White Bear.

Thanks. Just telling it as it will end up. Just like Sager did to the actual record of 71 points by Jake Hansen.

Maybe we could start a list like most years for us rubes so we can find the players that much easier. Please.

They only have an away game left so he's probably home for the year.

If they are leaving for juniors , how many game will they be able to play in? Or is it just to skate with the team? Also will they be staying with host family's or how does this work and do they finish school online.

Sorry for the run on question grew up in Herrmantown

Do not apologize for the run-on question...This is the essnece of 9th grader who chooses to leave high school in the hopes of playing NHL hockey. It is one thing to put off college, but to put off high school and college is another animal all together. Maybe he is too good for the WHL after a couple of games and will be at STA next year.
