He played 7:20 in the 1st, 7:50 in the second, and 8:40 in the 3rd. So, roughly 24 minutes.
ty. its too bad you didn't keep more records. I'd bet #24 for North saw more ice tonight.

I would agree that Blake had as many minutes as Kloos
Overall I would say Freemark had the most minutes.
Good game by both teams (not their best).
But for the most part.... Good kids that are good fiends that dislike losing to each other. Fun to watch.

24 minutes, having seen many of there games I commented to a friend that it looked like they were trying to play him less.

I agreed with what mulefarm said the other day that its hard to believe Kloos could be worn down at this point w/a 25 game season with little to no travel and not overly physical games. However, after watching last nights game I am leaning towards keepyourheadup, he doesn't seem to have the same jump in his step that he usually does and did looked gassed out there most of the game. Still amazing that he continues to be the difference maker, and put up the points that he does. Like I said in an earlier post, I doubt he will be rested these last few games as they got AV and Burnsville, both solid teams and Kennedy. He should be done after the 1st period with Kennedy once that game is in hand and the same with their first, and potentially second section game. North is gonna give them all that they have to get to the X and the 3rd time they meet (barring any major upset in 1AA) either team could easily win.

I was watching Blake a lot last night. He has some really slick hands and is a smart player. He competes hard too. BTW, the penalty they called on him was real suspect. Only thing I would say that is gonna hold him back is his speed. I think with a few yrs in the USHL he could be a solid college player. Another kid who I think has some potential for LN is Evan Peterson. He has pleasantly suprised me when I have watched them this yr.

Just one mans opinion but I thought Joe Freemark was the best player on the ice last night. Controlled the game with his ability to get South out of their own end. He doesn't get much publicity but he is every bit as important to his team as Kloos. Too bad he isn't a little bigger because he plays with great poise and is a tremendous skater.

I would agree that Freemark was the quarterback last night. Having watched him as a Mite...he has always had that calming controlling sense. Probably the best defense in the game this year at the HS level.
Would love to see him play the next level. I think he would do well.
Any looks?

Don't forget the forget the 25 game elite schedule where he logged large minutes, and then the one weekend he was supposed to get off traveling down to Waterloo to play one game in the USHL. All the while scoring in every single game[/quote]

Watching North, it amazes me how they can look like 2 different teams this season. If they could play like they do against South in all games they would probably have a much more respectable record. Completely different team on the ice last night than the one that played Burnsville. At any rate, you know this won't be the last time these 2 teams will play this year. Should be another good one!

Whoa, don't get ahead of yourself here buddy. Best d-man at the HS level? Not sure what you have been watching, but I don't even think top 10.
No disrespect to the guys I forget here, but just off the top of my head, Repensky and Meirs Moore from DE, Eli May and Sam Wolffe from Eagan, Schuldt from Minnetonka, Jack Bischoff from GR, Jordan Gross from MG, Commers from STA. Sure there are many more I am not listing here, I would even say Sheehy and Kivihalme from Burnsville are better d-men.
Freemark actually coughed up the puck in his own end a few times that lead to prime chances for LN and his initial outlet pass out of the d-zone wasn't sharp last night.

Isn't Sheehy a forward?

I'd take him on my team any day, but like I said, just one guys opinion.

Sats, we'll just have to agree to disagree because while like any player, Joe has had off nights, he was terrific yesterday.
