Sorry man - maybe the best first round game of the brackets, both teams heating up? I'm a bit of a homer with the district in my picks which will probably lead to my demise, sorry. Let's get a beer out there.

Not bad if I get 12 out of 16 rights. Final 4 should have Edina, STMA and Minnetonka, but question is if the home team flyers will be there.

Should have some close games and upsets.

Jet- don't have one at that age this year. My 98 went to pee-wee. daughter stayed with the girls progam. 01 not ready yet, but we will see you around this summer if not before. Forest lake played Tonka tough[1 to 0] WBL 1to 0, just lately should be great time for you guys. Have one for me.

Don't sleep on Superior, they have a strong squad this year. They should be able to give STMA a run for their money in the 2nd game.

What happened to Soup in the Hermantown tournament, not even in the finals. Looks like an average team from the cities won it.

Sweet 16:
Top of Bracket - Edina, GF Blues, EP, Moorhead, STMA, AV, Carolina Jr. Hurricaines, Wayzata

Bottom of Bracket - Fargo, GR, OMG, Stillwater, Farmington, Sibley, Tonka, Eastview

The bottom looks deeper to me than the top but the 800lb squirt is in the top! Great games at the sweet 16 shoudl be Wayzata vs Carolina, Stillwater vs OMG (toughtest sweet 16 matchup), Farmington vs Sibley, Tonka vs Eastview. Gotta feel sorry for EP...how many times have they played Edina? What is the combined score so far? Probably missed on an out of state team or two but no more than 3 make it to the final 16.

Final Four
Edina vs STMA
Stillwater/OMG winner vs Tonka

Chanpionship
Stillwater/OMG vs Edina

Champion by 5 goals Edina

Looks like the consent is there. The dark horses could be Forest Lake and Rochester Red.

Does anyone know if the Rochester Red is the top of the 3 squirt A teams Rochester has this year, or the 3 teams are evenly formed?

You all heard their Peewee A Red is too good to play in D9 regular schedule this year.

Yes, Rochester Red is their strongest team at the SQA level this year. They are not very strong though...we saw them earlier this year and they don't have a lot to work with. It would be a big stretch to call them a darkhorse.

That was their hiccup this year, lost to a team 2-1 that they beat by 8 in league play. That will happen with kids!

Won the Spring Lake Park tourney and their home tourney.

Are any of the canadien teams strong? Is the reason there aren't more because it's not a birth year cut off date?

Outscoring comp after two games 31-0. That strikes a little fear in the next opponent.
