There is no doubt in my mind, if MN decided to allow winter AAA hockey that they would be able to produce top level teams that would dominate nationally. The only drawback, of course would be the loss to the wonderful club hockey environment you have now where kids get to play on teams with school friends and neighbors, and parents don't have to rent a hotel every other weekend for hockey.

This is exactly why we need to save MINNESOTA YOUTH HOCKEY from going AAA. Minnesota youth and high school hockey is something special, we need to keep it this way...
Nobody needs to save anything we have beaten this dead horse for years now and the Mn Hockey Mafia will not do what is right for some of the kid's. No need to lose WONDERFULL CLUB HOCKEY GoGopherguy. Why
would you lose that ? They could just add to it with winter AAA and then
we would really have something special going on like they do in Detroit.
By the way the Gophers looked great against Michigan men to boys.

Fred check the rosters the gophers have the older team.

Michigan has not 1 high school recruit tier 1 AAA is the preference.

Michigan 6 Gophers 3

I know it is only 1 game but it is interesting.

Not sure what I would have to check the rosters for. I only referenced 5th and 6th graders because your 5thgraders (moniker). I was at the Michigan game, and it was the most uninspired gopher game I have witnessed this year. Gophs will be there in the end. Don't put too much stock on the outcome of that game. Even without looking at the rosters, I would still stay with the number of freshman, they would be younger. Ness and Schroeder should still be in high school.
