sidenote on the golf, the FBR open in Scottsdale AZ is also this weekend and for those that are unaware, that course has the par 3 16th hole that has stadium seating and seats i think 18,000 so check it out, its pretty amazing
I've played the course and shot a 77! True!

But I think you have an extra 0 on that number. Big area, but no way 18k..
Is that TPC Scottsdale? I shot a 56... on my Playstation 2.

Actually, isn't that the place that came unglued when Tiger hit an ace on 17 (or whatever it was) back in 96-97ish? Started showering the green with beer cups and such? I think it was somewhere in Arizona - I assume it was TPC.

My card shows 17 as 332 yards, so it seems right.

"The par-3 16th at TPC Scottsdale is known as the rowdiest scene on the PGA Tour. This year tournament officials are attempting to calm things down a bit, limiting fans to two beers per trip to the concession stand."

Obviously the stands weren't up when I played... but 18K?

I've been boycotting Scottsdale since '98 (well, technically I've never been there, but I think I'm within my rights to call it a "boycott" based on this outrage).

My favorite course in Scottsdale is Troon North, but its pricey.

Best value is ASU's Karsten Course. Yes, Karsten as in Ping.
