I do find it entertaining. I believe that some former players and fans may spend a lot of time here. But I was just repeating what I have been told by high school players and their families.

Special teams made a huge difference in the games SOG...Like I said many had the shots somewhat different than the hometown scorekeeper. WOW, your comments like always are somehow tainted a bitter appraisel of Bison Hockey. I agree that the Bison have a long way to go but in the last 1 1/2 seasons they have:WayOutWest wrote:To the contrary, confusion abounds. You have no idea who I am HOF. Back to the topic at hand.........
You believed, well before this game, that the Buffalo squad had significant potential. For you to effectively walk out of the rink "chesty" after Buffalo was outshot 41-16, shutout, and lost by three goals, is curious, at best.![]()
Sure, the odds were against them, and few thought they could actually win, but with where Buffalo is, there should be some deep seeded confidence that they actually have a shot. Instead, you are giddy that they managed to keep the goal differential below 4.
Absolutely, it had to have been a great learning experience for the team. But to suggest they actually improved their standing (i.e. "earning respect") by not getting absolutely drilled, is ludicrous, and doesn't show much confidence in your team. Buffalo may deserve some fans that actually truly expect them to perform at a level higher than that, rather than those that believe "they did a great job against boys that are clearly far more talented than themselves."
Yep. You were right.HOFam'r wrote: Buffalo earned some respect today ...
