Bash brother- you were impressed by Browns ability to stay calm? What game were you watching? The only reason that there was a skirmish at the end of game was because Brown elbowed #22 in the back of the end at the final whistle. He then punched #10 in the face when he came in to separate them. The EP player that jumped in was out of line but Brown was also out of line. He has talent but no discipline; same player for the last 3 years. He will get the snot beat out of him in the ushl next year. There are plenty of tough kids in that league that will not put up with his garbage.

Shots 52-13 in favor of Eastview. Andy Freeman, goalie for Eastview got the shutout.
MaxPreps had shots at 43-17 in favor of Eastview.

Stev16, you think Freeman will play against Kennedy and then assukming he does fine then cause most goalies have, do you think he will play till he would have a struggle later in the year maybe? Or was this just kinda here's a game were not worried about Eagan?

I saw Anderson played for Eagan, I don't know why I think Casper is the better of the 2 for sure.

I was referring to his actiona during the game. Several times #15 tried to provoke him and he put his hands up and backed away. Course #15 didnt get that and still acted like a buffoon.

I agree completely. The officiating was very poor throughout, and that second goal was a big momentum switch. It was clearly put in with a high stick, and when my 7 yr old comments on it before I even had a chance to, I would've expected the refs to pay a little better attention.

#15 from EP was absolutely the most classless player I have seen all year. He was a very average hockey player, and was only on the ice to throw cheap shots and mix it up. EP as a team didn't show a lot of class, but Rosemount did their fair share of jabbing back. I was a little disappointed in JT Brown's attitude tonight, as he seemed to retrograde back to last year and show some signs of immaturity as he let the physical part of the game get in his head tongiht. Hopefully he can keep his cool as he is a very important part of this team's success this year.
Really? I was impressed by Brown's ability to stay calm. He didnt retaliate when #15 appeared to be throwing punches at the back of his head.
I thought he did a nice job handling #15, but it just seemed that the physical play got to him early, and it took him out of his game. He took a bad elbowing call on a play that could have developed into a scoring chance, and just seemed more focused on hitting last night than playing his game.

Granted, EP is a relatively good team defensively, so JT wouldn't have as many chances as normal, but I saw some signs of last year. Don't get me wrong, I think he has come a long way this year mentally, and it will show at the end of the year.

I left the game with 50 seconds left, and just heard about #15's (from EP) fit he threw at the end of the game, helmet off and all, having to be restrained by several people. What a completely worthless excuse for a hockey player. I hope his coaching staff is smart enough to bench his sorry a&&, and maybe the MSHSL will impose some type of punishment for removing your helmet on the ice during an altercation. Absolutely the most classless player in high school hockey I have seen.

Ya, regardless of Brown's actions, it is unacceptable to leave your bench and remove your helmet.

Yeah I think Freeman will play again. He did very well for his first start, and right now they have nothing to lose at the goalie position. I think he will play until he has a bad game-which hopefully wont happen for a while!

And Anderson was not very good...

Its unfortunate that EV is having these goalie troubles because they could be a first rate team if they could find a solid consistent tender.

I agree. Its too bad that their isn't a solid go to goalie in the EV program.

Abrahamson let in the first 3, the 3rd being a brutal softy. Colette let in the second two. The first about 30 seconds after being brought in cold on a Mueller breakaway.

Collette played pretty well when he came in. The first goal came right after he came in and the second was a Mueller breakaway after he burned the defense.
