I think this is a perfect way to look at the B1 level. There are a ton of talented teams this year.
I agree Eagan is underrated and I'd add Woodbury White to the mix. They are very good but are trying to keep a low profile so that they can sneak up on teams. I think they have only a few losses on the season. You can also throw in Wayzata Navy.

Ya Dewey, thinks it will help the team, by not posting the scores (which is ridiculous)

Bear13 - I think you are on to someting - what I see is that teams can't really differentiate themselves from week to week, and are inconsistent. The only consistent team is Wayzata Blue. I would say that Blake, while clearly good, isn't much different from some of the others in group 3, but won't quibble about it.
As to the list, the Districts and Regions will finally separate these, and many won't make it past Districts because (D6) they have to face one another.
Should be afuna dn crazy finish to the season!

I think it is this so far
1.Minnetonka
2.Wayzata Blue
3.Burnsville
4.White Bear Lake Orange
5.Stillwater
6.Woodbury Blue
7.Eden Prairie Red
8.Duluth East
9.White Bear Lake Black
10.Centennial Red
Are you nuts! Woodbury Blue at 6! Hastings should have beat them they just had a bad 3rd period. I know no woodbury team should be close to the top 20!

I'm starting to think that most of the posts dissing Woodbury's B1 teams (both Blue and Black (aka White) are posts from Woodbury coaches or parents trying to mount a disinformation campaign to keep other teams off guard. Make no mistake: Woodbury has two or three very good Bantam teams, and some very good Peewee teams as well. They have the ability to beat anyone. Don't be look past them. Like any team, especially at the Bantam level, they'll have a night or two when the 14 and 15-year old boys are thinking about their girlfriends instead of the game at hand and they'll lose big, but they will be a tough obstacle to any team they face in districts, regions or state.

I agree with you and it does look like both Woodbury teams solid.
Talking about the kids train of thoughts, I was at a game last night between a 9-1-2 team and a 2-8-1 team and they tied 1 to 1, It appeared that 1st place team was there to simply raise there individual stats, and the opponent came stop them. and did a very nice job. Any one can win, in my earlier post I rated a lot of the teams the same, because the games could go any way any day. Looks like Woodbury White should be on that list also.javascript:emoticon('')
The cats out of the bag for Woodbury White though.

Ya, and district 2 believe it or not plays 3 - 11 minute periods only to jump to 3 - 15 min periods when they go to districts. That is like playing a complete extra period for them. I hope they have there wind.

I am not a Blake guy. But just so it is clear the are not allowed to have an A team at this time by the people that run youth hockey. I am sure they would love to have an A team and take players from the associations.

I don't think that Eagan is underrated. I think that their a top 20 or top 25 team at best, where i think their ranked right now.

This season Eagan beat the following top 10 or top 20 teams: Stillwater, WBL Black, Wayzata Navy, Woodbury Blue, Woodbury White, Moorhead Black, Duluth East Red, Richfield, and Minneapolis Park. Eagan had a pretty decent B1 team.
