I would say that Gus Hendrickson, Jim Nelson, and Lynn Ellingson were pretty respectable.

Yeah right. How many times to state? a couple of state championships too i think. East always is a contender for one reason, randolph. Personally, i thought that he had some weak teams in the past few years but always were a contender in any game.Spike wrote:ya.....right.pipersniper12 wrote:RANDOLPH
Surely this was said with tongue in cheek. One would think after 5 years out of the league he would be at a higher level than high school. Great players don't necessarily make great coaches. He has helped in putting a large stain on the SAHA A Bantam program. I'd like to think that for someone to be considered great, they would have to have accomplished something great. He did as a player. He has not as a coach.2FUN wrote:Hockey East:
Thanks for putting Housley up thereHe is a great coach that is turning around a program that has a lot of numbers but no state appearances as of yet!! It is a hard pill to swallow knowing how many kids they have in the association and they cant get to state. Since his arrival they have one of the hardest schedules year in and year out and have steadily improved in the standings. This year is no different with the schedule and hopefully they improve on the 500 season they had last year. He will be a head coach in the NHL someday and hopefully before he leaves he is able to put this program on the map and put the people in place to ensure that it does go backwards!!!!
I'm hoping for Stillwater to get to the Tournament just so I won't have to listen to his commentary on tv.tourneytickssince59 wrote:Surely this was said with tongue in cheek. The odds are slim to none of that happening. You might just want to watch with the sound offGovs93 wrote:I'm hoping for Stillwater to get to the Tournament just so I won't have to listen to his commentary on tv.tourneytickssince59 wrote:Surely this was said with tongue in cheek.
