The game will not be starting on time tonight. It sounds like it may be around 7:30. The team bus is late getting to Roseau.

On behalf of 8A, I have just one thing to say to Bemidji.

Welcome back, Welcome back, Welcome back

Elliot, I'm not directing this towards you or intending to cause hostility, but I think Bemidji's move to A is a poor excuse to try and get to state. The Bantam A's are going to VFW State so they won't be any worse than they are. Yes they can qualify for A, but I think that's a poor excuse for them.

It was a fairly fast first period. No penalties, and the shots on goal were 18-4. A pretty dominated period of hockey by the Rams

It is pretty amazing, but there has already been 3 penalties between the two teams early in the 2nd.

Yeah, I'll bet Bader ... and then I suppose you think Detroit Lakes and Park Rapids will go to 4A, and Walker-Hackensack will join the Lumberheads in 8A.

You're really dream'in now ..

Everyone has to come to their own opinion.
I just hope people don't blame certain people or call the kids on it.
They asked my opinion, I told them I prefer AA, but would always support them.
As I said, and Coach Mischke stated, it is for a 2 year period.
When this years bantam team is 12 & 11 graders they may well have to be AA (tough to say it Bemidji with school population becomes transit with kids going to Charter schools, kids from the reserve coming down here, and BSU mix of students bring students into ISD or take them out).

And of course, election to go AA will be an option.

I would like to see half of 8A play AA. (same in 7)

Be nice to have Roseau, Warroad, Thief River Falls, East Grand Forks, Crookston, Bemidji, Moorhead, and Tech in 8AA maybe Alex and/or Fergus, and/or Apollo.

7AA with GR, Hibbing, Virginia, Hermantown, Duluth Marshall, CEC, Duluth East, and Brainerd.

Or something like that.

The road to State in 8AA in the next 2 years will be through Roseau and Bemidji knows it.

After Moorhead wins the State Championship this year, Roseau will be the new engineer on the cow plow. Slappy is currently in negotiations with Roseau administration trying to rebuild the bridge he burned last year to be the official spokesman for the Rams next year.

He will have to go through Elliot70 to cover the Lumberjacks in two years in 8A.

Smart move for Bemidji. Just like it was for Warroad.

Class A Champ can beat anyone at any given time. 2005 Warroad Warriors. Just ask Slappy ... because as we all know ... It's up for Grabs!

Is it still snowing and blowing in Bemidji? I wonder if the team will stay over or go home?

Stitch - You are right, Bemidji will be a contender.
But Slappy has precedent over me. But as am I, he too, is the best looking boy in his family. So with the gift of gab and a great face, he is the conductor of the 8 TRAIN.
