You have to be crazy to think that anybody, especially Buffalo, is going to put up 4 goals on the spuds at home in the playoffs. I agree that the Bison will be more competitive this time around, but the speed and depth of Moorhead will become a factor about halfway into the second. After a 1-0 or 1-1 first period, the Spuds break out in the second on the way to a 6-1 victory.

I agree there is no way Buffalo is puttin up that many goals. The only way for them to win this one is if their goalie throws up a shut out or pretty close to that. I just dont see Moorhead losing in this section but it would be so sweet if they did.

It only took two of us last year.
Of course, besides the bouncers, the rest were private school, ignorant SOB's that can talk much better than they can perform.
Not the good privates like AHA, Hill and Cretin.
Just lowly single A guys.
But if I need help I will just call out for all good alliance men.
Just watch for the old, crippled-up fellow, me, with a good-looking young man (my son, who takes after his father).

And Boofalow cannot win.
Although I wish my friend, Mike M., good luck.

Every year it seems there is a miracle run through the playoffs and a hot goalie takes his team to state....That is what makes this Bison team scary...they have nothing to lose and enough talent to get a couple three against Spuds...they must capitalize on their opportunities and they must get some luck from the hockey gods but stranger things have happened...This Trousdale/Wachter line is the real deal and the second line guys have some speed and skill...will they do it??? Of course Moorhead is better but in sports and especially hockey it is better to be lucky than good.

We can all thank last years Holy Angels team for dreaming up these ridiculous scenarios. Buffalo got lucky and beat a Duluth East team who really didn't have much too lose. On the road, in the playoffs against the Spuds, I would bet HShockeywatchers reputation that the Spuds win by a Touchdown!

Are you kidding me? This game is as much of a lock as the Gophers against Holy Cross last year.

Ooops, bad example.
Ok, it's as much of a lock as Holy Angels against Apple Valley last year.

Oh wait, that doesn't work either.
Seriously though, I don't see Moorhead looking past Buffalo at all. Morinville will keep them focused.

Does HShockeywatcher have a reputation to bet with?

Slappy, will you be giving play-by-play updates of the game on this thread or are you too busy playing 5th line center for the Spuds tonight?

Hey Slap,
Is this one on radio in Moorhead? If so, what station?
I am looking forward to your updates and fine commentary, but just in case I have a chance of picking up the station, thought I would give it a try. Is it still 1280? I think it used to be KVOX, but it may have changed.
Thanks for your help.

I'm kind of worried, maybe slap is too busy playing 5th line center. Can't be good if he actually got in the game.
