Stillwater 1 - Hastings 0
Score is not a reflection of the way the game was played. Stillwater looked very strong. Goalie kept Hastings alive.

Buffalo 2
Rogers 1
Buffalo dominated play (when they weren't in the penalty box) but needed 2 3rd period goals to win.

Score for CDH / WBL game is wrong. The game ended in a 2-2 tie in OT.

Duluth Looked very good Birdsall and Dodge were strong as was Bellamy
Erikson was rejected several times from the door step but her and Gallop and Arola remained dominant .

sounds like bellamy is the one that made it a game.

In all reality it was a bit of a sloppy game, Bellamy was very good but I dont think I could say she was the difference. Missed opportunity and missed shots by both teams really lead to the final outcome. I think both teams had several opportunities to win but failed to execute. Just my take.

Holy Angels 4, Benilde-St. Margarets 3
After BSM battled back from a 2-0 deficit and tied the score, AHA scored late in the 3rd to win 4-3. Very exciting and fast-paced game to watch.

Stillwater 1 Hill Murray 0 Shots 27 to 24 for Hill.
Back to back shut outs for Sobczak - the question of goaltending and strong deefense is getting answered for Stillwater.
Big Crowd at Stillwater for both teams, lots of youth hockey players and at least three other HS teams there watching - great energy in the building.

how did the lightning look? you said Erickson Gallop and Arola looked good but what about the rest of the team? They gonna repeat this year?
I am really surprised Duluth with all the programs that have combined are not basically dominating

Chaska actually beat Lakeville North in OT, there must have been a screw up on Maxprep but Chaska won that game

The Lightning look VERY good defensively. Havel is awesome in nets and Clafton and Horgen are heading up the defensive unit. The big three forwards have been very good, but most forwards have been pretty good. Lightning will contend all year, for sure.
