And if you're from Austin he just may be your brother...
Neither could I

That is funny RSI, now you're catching on.
Tinysota needs some new material.......maybe he could start another junior high rumor.
The real question..
Can Albert Lea , the new miracle team, handle the pressure as well as Austin did this year? and AL where is your congrats to Austin or are you too little for that.

Check my post in the Marshall thread, Buzzard...and now for something totally different !
OK---here goes:
The AHS hockey team had a dream season, going away with the Section 1 title.
They are a talented team, and truly a TEAM.
All of the girls deserve credit for getting to state, not just the "injured" ones, and Twinnesota wishes the Pack the best in the state tourney.
Go get em, and represent us all well up there...

Austin played very well against MW. First period not their greastest by far. But by 2nd period they came back and ruled that period. MW student fans trying to take Austin out of their game but after scoring two goals MW's student fans shut right up.
Its nice to see other teams cheering for us and making signs like faribault did but I dont think you saw any other team cheering for MW. Austin just must be the well liked by other teams. Just like what the Faribault sign said GOOD LUCK AT STATE AUSTIN!

So you guys are gunning for the Miss Congeniality title?
Seriously though, it was truly enjoyable following the continuing saga of the 1A thread this season. Nutjobs, screwballs and fruitcakes.... Good luck at state!

Evidently Bensonmum is another one who thinks the Packers have little chance of winning...little does she know that the Packers are undefeated (4-0) against "Tigers" this season. The Farmington Tigers are next...
Congrats and good luck Packers.

Any predictions on the Austin vs. MW game?
That would mean you are Austin's number 2 . You give out to much info.
My predictions were also very accurate.(swiss that is sarcasm) That is why Jet does not want me on his side. However I think Mankato West is going to give Austin a great challenge.
Forgot to reply to this message and here is what I have to say. Every team needs a BW

haha i never thought of it that way RSI. thanks for the faith. it'll be a tough game to say the least but you can rest assured that we'll skate our best. we owe Farmington a little payback anyway; a few years ago, they killed us in Sections, and they weren't nice about it either. reffing was the worst i've ever seen. anyway, let's get 'em PACK.

Not at all RSI--just a little joke about being 'well liked'. Actually I'm going with the Packers in the first round at least...maybe farther. I've never seen them play, but I did see Farmington in the Section Final. What I would like is a little inside info about Marshall--like do they have a chance against Crookston?

No...Marshall has no chance...
Austin and AL beat them easily. AL shut them out.

Sorry Mum, I just assumed you were assigning the "Miss Congeniality" award to Austin because you didn't think they'd win a game.
Marshall has NO shot at beating Crookston, I believe Crookston already beat them 5-1 earlier in the season. Sorry to say but Marshall will leave St. Paul 0-2, but they are young and will always have this experience to draw from.

Also it was good to hear from Laura Hillman on the radio in the 2nd period interview.
Sounds like a "YES MAN" to me.

I agree with the boni 100% about the job that the Falks did this year.
I guess I just found it ironic that he bashes everything about Albert Lea hockey on the other boards here.
He also referred to all people supportive of A.L. hockey as simply being 'yes-men'.

This is the ONLY time I will agree with ZAMBONI, the Falks do a very nice job with the girls.
The question is...how would ZAMBONI know? I've been going to game for 3-4 years and I've
NEVER seem him at a game. I think he's been banned from the arena.

You're such a fraud. You have not been to 1 game, home or away. You can't go to the home games, you're banned from the arena. Either that or you're scared of ALL those HS kids you like to rip on in your posts.
On to more important things...
I'd like to hear from some of the Austin people about last night's game. I wasn't there. Was it a rough game? The StarTribune's boxscore had a couple checking calls AND an elbowing call. Farmington managed to contain the Faber, Jenkins and Heimsness line which is something nobody else had managed to do all season. Tell me more.

I was at the game. I dont know what Austins record was I never followed them. Just read the rediculous post. They were VERY UNIMPRESSIVE! Maybe they just had a bad game or an extremely weak section.
